According to Professor Gary Wu, Univ. of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in an article
from Medical News Today: “Fungi and bacteria tend to be in competition with each
other. When you decrease the fungal diversity in your gut, healthy bacterial
colonization increases and vice versa. An example of this is when you develop a
Candida infection following a round of antibiotics. When the antibiotics kill off
healthy bacteria, the fungi are allowed to proliferate.”

WHAT IS CANDIDIASIS??

MY STORY - IF ONLY I’D KNOWN!
Raised in traditional Western Medicine
Never looked at my history
Ran EVERY “traditional” test → “you’re just
depressed”
My Hx: antibiotics, birth control, drugs, alcohol, poor
diet, chronic sinus & bacterial infx’s, eczema, crazy
hormones, insomnia, off & on vaginitis, vertigo,
endometriosis, chronic fatigue, mood swings, mild
acne, severe body aches, constipation, bloat & gas...

Yes, you can get probiotics from RAW fermented foods, but it’s
rarely enough. That’s when we need to “supplement”!
DETERMINE HOW MANY PROBIOTICS TO TAKE:
1. Start with recommended dosage on the bottle
2. Add 1 capsule per day until dairrhea
3. Back down by 1 capsule
4. Back down again each time you start to get loose stools

MONTH 2 FOOD ADDITIONS
When bloating & gas decrease & symptoms start improving, USUALLY
MONTH 2 (sometimes sooner, sometimes longer)...
ADD: Berries, grapefruit, sweet potatoes, quinoa
● try not to add too quickly
● if symptoms get worse, we added too soon; go back
*I start some people on these foods if I discern the full sugar fast is
setting them up for failure all together.

MONTH 3 & BEYOND
*You will typically be sensitive to sugar for many months.
*The “diet” is only 1 part of the solution. Without proper supplementation &
liver support, this rarely resolves. It’s a lot of work to re-establish harmony
in the gut, but SO WORTH IT!
Introduce SLOWLY: apples, dates, raw honey, brown rice, etc
AVOID: super-sweet fruits, soda, bread/pasta, simple sugars and
simple carbs as long as possible. Read labels!
A FAST vs. A DIETNOTE: These are my personal definitions :)
FAST: A “get-to”; a calling; an act of worship; an
honor; an act of personal devotion having to do with
a need or dependence on God; temporary; leads to
freedom & breakthrough on an emotional, spiritual
AND physical level; God’s power. A set-up for
success.
DIET: a “have-to”; self-imposed; food legalism; black
& white rules & regulations with no account for what
God’s trying to heal on a deeper level; Will-power. A
set-up for failure.
AN IMBALANCED MICROBIOME MEANS WE
NEED A FILTER CHANGE!
TOXINS in our bodies get filtered through our liver, kidneys,
lungs, skin and bowels (our 5 filters) daily.
When it’s a living toxin like yeast, it is constantly reproducing
& re-circulating through the blood & back through the liver.
SO, we need a really good liver and whole body cleanse.
NOTE: a 1 - 2 week cleanse usually won’t cut it!
