    Trust and confdence in your trainingTrainers tell us they want the IOSH name attached to their coursematerials. We make sure your course has the right health and saety

    content, is aimed at the right level and is based on good practice.

    Building an IOSH-qualifed workorceEvery learner who sits a course approved by us is tested by anend-o-course assessment which leads to an IOSH-accreditedqualifcation. Everyone who achieves the pass mark or the course isawarded an ofcial certifcate or passport card.

    Working together

    From the start, well give you advice, support and guidance to helpyou gain IOSH-approval. Youll work closely with a member o ourteam and youll also attend one o our Familiarisation Training Days.

    Helping you get yourcourse approved

    Learning and developmentWell make sure your materials:- acilitate a learning experience

    that is enjoyable and worthwhile- contain the exercises and tools

    to present an energised trainingprogramme.

    Assessment and learnersWell make sure theres a suitableassessment which measures thelearning objectives.

    Trainer and competenceYoull need to have trainers with the appropriate level o skills and knowledge torun your course.

    Quality controlYoull need to have someone within your organisation who has the appropriateknowledge, skills and experience to be responsible or the quality control oyour IOSH training. This person must be an IOSH member at the correct levelor the course youre proposing to deliver. We call this person your NominatedIOSH Member.

    Approving your course content and assessment

    Well look at your course materials and check them against a set o standards:

    Technical and complianceWell check that your materials:- contain details and explanations

    o current health and saetylegislation and good practice

    - include the subjects we wouldexpect rom the title

    - suit the needs o the intended

    audience.

    Your course approval costs depend on the amount ocontent in the course, its level o complexity and thedelivery ormat (or example, ace-to-ace, eLearning).

    All approval costs are based on our approval rate o425 per day.

    Well confrm the time it will take to approve yourcourse upon sight o your materials. You can use thelist o course titles below as a price guide and pleasetalk to us or an accurate quote on costs and timeto approve.

    When you submit your course materials or approval, youll need to pay a non-reundable deposit o 300 + VAT (or any course, in any ormat). This

    deposit will then be deducted rom the total approval price youve been quoted. I youd preer, you can pay the approval ee in ull instead.

    Becoming licensed to deliver your IOSH-approved course

    - Familiarisation Training Day: 45per person (As a minimum, eitheryour Nominated IOSH Member or your lead trainer must attend.)

    - Initial IOSH licence ee:180 per course title

    Running costs or your courseWhen youve become licensed to deliver your IOSH-approved course,youll have some running costs:

    - Annual licence renewal ee: 100 per course title

    - Course ee: Youll need to pay a course ee each time you runa course. As a general rule, the course ee is 10 per dayper course.

    - IOSH certifcates: As part o your terms and conditionso licence, youll issue every successul learner with an IOSHcertifcate that well produce or you. Certifcates cost: 20 per person or ace-to-ace or blended learning courses 22.50 per person or distance learning (including registration) 25 per person or eLearning (including registration)

    - IOSH passports: For a Working saely course, you can oer

    learners the option o an IOSH passport, which costs: 25 per person or ace-to-ace or blended learning courses 27.50 per person or distance learning (including registration) 30 per person or eLearning (including registration)

    All prices exclude VAT and may be subject to change.
