Reaction Vessel

We manufacture Chemical Reaction Mixing Vessel as per requirement of Customers.

Design ensures that the Mixing of Chemical proceeds with the highest efficiency towards the desired

output product, producing the highest yield of product as per requirement of customer. It may be provided with internal

cooling coils if needed. Chemical reactor or reaction vessels are vessels design to facilitate chemical reaction among various

raw chemicals, known as reactants. Reaction Vessels are also used for other processes such as solids dissolution,

product mixing, distillation, crystallization, liquid/liquid extraction and polymerization. Reactors are also identified based on

process for which it will be used (Such as blender or crystallizer). We are a Chemical Reactor Manufacturer for Pharmaceutical

Process of Reaction Vessel Chemical Reactors or Jacketed Reaction Vessel consists of a cylindrical vertical shell with

standard Torispherical dish on both ends. A Jacket is provided on the Outside of the shell for

Heating & Cooling Stiffener Rings are provided on shell in between the shell and jacket to give

uniform circulation of the heating or cooling media and to intensify the vessel. Ideally suitable

for the heating below 150 Centigrade (302 Fahrenheit). Commonly used heat transfer media

include water, steam, hot oil.

Limpet Coil Reaction Vessel consists of a cylindrical vertical shell with standard Torispherical

dish on both ends. Limpet Coil is half round Pipes welded on the outer surface of the shell and

also on the bottom dish of the Reactor. Limpet coil is made of either Mild Steel or Stainless Steel.

It is either Double end double start for both heating and cooling through limpet coil or Normal

Single coil for either heating or cooling. Limpet Coil Welding is performed by using high grade

By Flux Core filler wire depending on MOC of the Limpet Coil to withstand design pressure.

Baffles are also provided inside the shell as per the requirement.Agitator assembly mounted on the Top dish of Reaction Vessel consists of Shaft supported by

Lantern Assembly on the Top End containing Bearing Housing with Tapered roller bearing to

withstand impact load and vibratory load ensuring smooth rotation of the Shaft

Shaft Can fitted with different types Of Agitator Such as Single Anchor, Double Anchor, Turbine &

Propeller types

Kettle Reboiler

Horizontal U Tube bundle will be placed inside of the shell on Kettle Reboilers. Kettle Reboilers are the easiest type of Reboiler design you could use for your distillation process. A kettle Reboiler is designed to allow a heating fluid to pass through tubes that are covered in the liquid you want to be distilled. As the liquid heats up and boils, it is sent to the distillation column and condensed by cooling liquid. Any vapor that is created then passes up to be collected and the liquid by product drops to the bottom of the kettle making its way back to the tubes.

Process of Kettle Reboiler

Essentially, a Reboileris a heat exchanger or a fired heater, providing heat that is needed for the distillation column to perform its function. Heat is often provided through shell and tube heat exchangers that are typically filled with steam or a thermal fluid (Hot Oil). Some systems receive their heat from a gas fired heater on the feed to distillation unit. Kettle Reboilers are very simpleand reliable. They may require pumping of the column bottoms liquid

Kettle reboilers can sometimes maintain pressure head on their own depending on the temperature of the process. If the temperature is inadequate, your kettle Reboiler may need to be fitted with a pump or some other way of getting the condensed liquid phase back to the tubes

The liquid from the bottom of the tower flows through the tube bundle and exits as condensate. A restraining device (baffle) controls the liquid level over the bundle

Heat Exchanger

Heat Exchangers are designed and manufactured to facilitate indirect heat transfer between

the two fluids. The two fluids can be liquid and liquid or vapor and liquid. The shell-and-tube heat exchanger

has two main areas – Tube side and Shell side

Process of Shell and type of Heat ExchangerMain components of Shell and Tube type heat exchanger are- Shell, Tube, Tube sheet, Baffles,Tie roads spacers and Channel.

The Cylindrical Shell can be fabricated from rolled plate or from pipes

Tubes can be plain tubes. Or heat transfer surface area of the tubes can be increased many

folds by using finned tubes or corrugated tubes. Shell tube heat exchangers with fin tubes are

known as finned type heat exchanger and with corrugated tubes it is known as corrugated

tube heat exchanger

Tubes of the heat exchanger will be held on both the sides by Tube Sheets. Tubes will be

inserted through holes provided on tube sheets. Tubes are firmly fitted in the tube sheet either

by welding or by mechanical or hydraulic expansion

Baffles are provided to support the tubes, to maintain the space between the tubes and it also

channelized the fluid flow as per design through the shell side of heat exchanger

Tie rods and Spacers will hold the baffle assembly together; and will also maintain the

spacing between the baffles. One end of the tie rods are secured to the tube sheet and other

ends are secure in the last baffleChannels or Heads are provided for shell-and-tube heat exchangers to contain the tube side

fluid and to provide the desired flow path

Shell and tube heat exchangers are used as Condensers, Reboilers, Process Heaters,Coolers and Falling Film Evaporator

The Ribbon Blender machine or Mixer operates raw materials mixing powder or granules of Pharmaceutical Materials,

Crystalline, Insecticides, Pesticides, and Food industry and heat sensitive products. Ribbon Blender is used many industries

for mixing and drying powders such as food powder, carbon black, granules, pellets and various other solid forms , Customer

Working Principal

The Stainless Steel Blender is an best efficient and versatile product blending machine for mixing of dry granules & powders

homogeneously. Approx two third of the product volume of the container of Ribbon Blender is filled to ensure proper mixing

materials. Ribbon Blender gives best super result for mixing of product like dry powder & granules due to the design and

shape of the materials mixing ribbon and product container

Product Material should be charge from the top side. There are Open lid or port/ports should be provided on the top cover to

charge the product material as well as for air vent. Our blender machine with One discharge valve provided at the bottom

side at centre of the container. The blender machine discharge height could be adjust as per the customer requirement, so

that product material gets discharge in the other container directly or fixed screw transfer or vacuum transfer systems

optionally extra so that product material handling time for discharge is nil and the operation is dust free. The blender unit is

consist of electrical motor, worm reduction gear, belt drive or heavy duty chain between motor and gear, couple drive between

gear to ( ribbon ) mixing stirrer. Product Container having four nos. of legs with discharge valve & top cover of machine, Both

end of mixing shaft is sealed with bush & PTFE gland housing & safety guards are provided on all moving parts for safety.

The Double Cone Blender is a conventional mixer suitable for dry powder mixing.

Working Principle of Sigma MixersThe bowl is made of heavy steel plate making it a rugged heat proof unit. This is

especially useful for bulky material and additional thinning prior to discharge.

Tangential blades are supplied with differential speeds. Heavy duty machine cut

spur gears are provided. Spherical type bearings are provided at both the ends to

suit both radial and thrust load. Gland type shaft seals are fitted at both the ends

for easy maintenance. Bowl is provided with jacket for temperature control and

adoptable for cold water or brine or hot water, steam etc. Mixers can be designed

for vacuum operations. Sanitary construction is provided for food and

pharmaceutical procedures.

Construction: SIGMA MIXER consist of "W" shaped container made of either

Mild Steel or Stainless Steel 304 or 316 with jacket of Carbon Steel covering two

side for heating or cooling application & dust free cover to get Vacuum if desired

or normal cover. The mixing elements (Blades) are of Sigma type Steel casted

and duly finished two in number which contra rotate inward fitted at close or

specified clearance with the container to give thorough and uniform mixing.

There is a Gland pusher of Gun Metal Bush which ensures minimal friction and

extends the life of mixing elements (Blades) Shaft.

Drive: The Drive Consists of Motor of type TEFC Or TEFC Flameproof of Specified

HP.1 440 RPM, Reduction Gear Box Of Reputed Make having suitable size and

ratio, Spur Gears, are also provided of adequate size and having machine cut

teeth, between the front and rear blade complete with guard suitable for grease

lubrication.

The complete Mixer is mounted on Steel Fabricated Stand of suitable strength to

Fluid Bed Dryer

The atmospheric air is sucked in the dryer through 5/10 micron filter by an efficient dynamically balanced fan driven by an electric motor. The clean air then passes over the electric heaters steam or oil radiator provided with temperature controller. The hot air passes through the product and fluidisation dries the product. Dryer is provided with dehumidifier (Chilled water system) at the inlet of the dryer so as to dry the product at low temperature under fluidized condition. The blower speed is controlled by A. C. frequency drive so as to control the fluidisation avoiding choking of the filter bag. A raking system provided to avoid lump formation in the container to achieve uniform fluidisation & uniform drying. Fluid Bed Dryer offers a lucid solution to drying of wet granules, crystalline or

coarse materials. It utilizes the principle of passing the hot air at a high velocity through the bed of

the material to be dried, thus causing it to fluidize.

The blower situated on the exhaust side of the dryer operates no negative pressure principle, which creates the induced draught

and sucks in the fresh air into the dryer. A stream of hot filtered air is introduced from the bottom of product container containing

the wet material. This container is provided with the air distribution plate and Dutch sieve. The air stream is passed through the

bed of the material and fluidizes the product particles by creating the turbulence in the product container. Due to fluidization each

The tray dryers are heated by means of electrical, steam and oil as fired burners. The dryer cabinet is designed in such a way

that air inside the dryer has minimum resistance at all the corners of the dryer. All the sides of the dryer from inside are made

Vacuum Tray Dryer

Vacuum Tray Dryer (VTD) is suitable for drying of thermal sensitive

materials easily resolved, polymerized or deteriorated under higher temperature. Sterilization can

be conducted prior to the drying process, during which no matter is allowed to enter the product. Static vacuum

dryer eliminates the configuration damage of the drying materials therefore widely used in pharmaceutical, chemicals and

foodstuff etc

Working Principal

Vacuum tray dryer is the most commonly used batch dryer. They are either box – shaped or cylindrical shaped loaded and

unloaded via a door. Inside are several heating plates mounted one above the other on which the product is placed in trays .

The Top of both heating plates (Shelves) and the bottom of heating shelves trays should be as smooth as possible to permit

optimal heat transfer between plates and product. The medium flowing through the heating plates is water, steam, or thermal

oil. The distance between the heating plates is determined primarily by the surface loading and the foaming of the product.

To avoid retrograde condensation, the cabinet walls are indirectly preheated by limpet coil provided on the outer side of the

body (Optional). Only after all the product trays reach the same temperature, the cabinet is evacuated and drying can start.

(The preheating phase is very important in order that the drying curve and the foaming of product are identical throughout the

cabinet). During the main drying phase the vacuum is in the range of 40 to 80 mbar abs and in the final drying phase vacuum

of only few mbar abs are reached. The vacuum can be controlled through PLC in order to reduce the drying cycle.

The dimensioning of the vacuum system is an important factor in the design of drying cabinet systems .If for example vigorous

foaming of the product is desired, evacuation to the operational vacuum level must take place very quickly. Vapors produced

during drying are taken out directly to a surface condenser in which the vapours condenses. Non-condensable vapours are

extracted by the vacuum system. On completion of the drying, the product can be cooled by circulating of cooling water

through the heating plates

Process of Operation

The liquid to be filtered is passed into the vessel by means of

the pump or other external means. The liquid then passes

through the top of the filter plates from the holes provided at

the side of the plate and onto the filter media. The liquid flows

simultaneously and individually through all the member plates.

Hence the output of the filter depends on the diameter and the

number of plates. The filter media then retains the impurities in

the liquid and the filtered liquid passes through the central

channel to the outlet at the bottom.

The filters are optionally available with steam jacket for filtration

of difficult liquids that solidifies at lower temperatures.

These types of filters are generally used for obtaining clear filtrate,

but it can also be used to obtain the cake that is retained on the

filter media, between the plates.

Scavenging OperationThe unfiltered liquid remaining inside the shell at the end of

filtration can be filtered by scavenging operation, opening the

single plate valve and applying pressure from the vent using

compressed air or nitrogen / inert gas, so that even the last drop of

unfiltered liquid passes through the bottom plate. It is available in

14” & 18” Dia models as a standard and can be provided in 33” Dia

model on request

The cartridge assembly consists of a number of disc type filter

plates with perforated support screen, filter media and

interlocking cups placed one on top of the other and supported

Nustche Filter

The Nustche Filter consists of a cylindrical shell with top dished

and a welded flat perforated bottom plate which is stiffened by supports welded

under. The base plate is having arrangement of bolting ring to hold the filter cloth or can be adapted

to have a sintered SS regenerable filter media welded to the perforated plate. Suitable nozzles are provided including

Manhole and Side discharge nozzle.

For smaller diameters the filter media arrangement can be installed in a removable basket for transportation of the

accumulated solids to downstream processing areas. Suitable portable mechanized lifting arrangement for loaded basket

Vibro Sifter

Vibro sifter is a device used to separate the various grade

grinded powders in the micron level. In this device cam and pushing rod are used

to get the reciprocation motion. This device is a fully mechanical with pollution free device.

This device is worked by the same mechanism of engine valve opening mechanism. The cam and pushing rod work

together to get the zigzag reciprocation motion of wire mesh frame, It is being published for producing the low cost

efficient device. These devices are used for separate product like grains, Turmeric powder, chili powder, rice powders

and chemicals used in pharmaceutical industries. By using fewer components and less working elements, the current

devices are two types that are horizontal type and vertical type, both they are spring loaded. This device is working

by motor, springs and unbalanced weight. When motor is turned ON the stem will rotates due to the unbalanced mass

Then the Vibro sifter separates the various grades powders, the cam operated Vibro sifter as name implies its main

working element is the cam. There are two cam shafts to reciprocate the right and left pushing rods. Its working is

similar to the valve opening in the engines. The pushing rod is connected with wire mesh frame with the help of

hopper the grinded powder is feed to the wire mesh. The continue reciprocation movement in the wiremesh helps to

separate the various graded grinded powder at various stations. Cam shaft is the main working element of this device.

Cam is mechanical structure is used to make kinematics in machineries such as they are used to control the timing of

reciprocation motion of links attached to it. Based upon the profile of cam the timing and action of motion may be

varied. Cam shaft is called as the brain of machines.

Cam: A projection on a rotating part in machinery, designed to make sliding contact with another

part while rotating and to impart reciprocal or variable motion to it.

Base Circle: The smallest circle centered on the cam rotation axis, and tangent to the cam surface.

The size of the base circle is dictated by spatial restrictions of the application.

Home Position: The orientation of the cam that corresponds to 0° on a displacement curve.

Reference Circle (or prime circle): A circle centered at the cam axis whose radius is equal to the

distance to the trace point. It is the smallest circle from the cam center through the pitch curve.

Pressure Angle: The angle between the direction of motion of the follower and the direction of the

cam contact force is called pressure angle. Pressure angle should not exceed 30°.

Pitch curve: The path generated by the trace point at the follower is rotated about a stationary cam.

Cam shaft: A shaft with one or more cams attach ed to it, (eg. working of valves in an internal

combustion engine is controlled by cam shaft). Cam shaft is called as the brain of machines.

Wire mesh: Wire mesh is a material that is made from various strands of interconnected metal,

usually steel or aluminum. These strands can be welded together, extruded, or even connected by pins or other devices.

They are used to extract or separate the various graded powders into different stages.

Gear: A gear is a rotating machine part having cut teeth, or cogs, which mesh with another toothed part to transmit

torque. The speed, torque, and direction of a power source is controlled by speed ratio. Gears almost always produce a

Two or more meshing gears, working in a sequence, are called a gear train or a transmission. A gear can mesh with a

similar tooth part, called a rack, it producing linear movement instead of rotation.

Dyno Mill or Bead Mill

Dyno-Mill is an agitator bead mill with horizontal grinding container for

dispersion and finest wet grinding in a completely enclosed system. The Dyno-Mill is suitable for all kinds

of products from low to highly viscous pump able products. Specially designed agitator discs, mounted symmetrically on a shaft,
