SEVENTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME July 29, 2018
Questions for personal reflection based on this Sunday’s Readings…
Gifts of Hope When [the people] were satisfied, he told his disciples, “Gather up the fragments left over, so that nothing may be lost.” So they gathered them up, and from the fragments of the five barley loaves, left by those who had eaten, they filled twelve baskets. (John 6:12–13)
When has the generous gift of another offered you hope?
What loving gift could you give to another person this week?

Michael Davitti, s.x., Director of the “Interfaith dialogue project” for the Xaverian Community of Wayne, NJ and the Rector of the community, will speak to our parishioners at all the Masses. Archbishop Guido Maria Conforti, a Bishop whose heart embraced the World, fulfilled his life-long dream to serve the mission of the Church by founding the Xaverian Missionaries in 1895. The Xaverian Missionaries have built churches, seminaries, schools and hosptials because of the help given by fellow Christians in the United States. You too can share in these mission efforts through your prayers and your financial aid. Our second collection next weekend will be for the missionary collection. If you wish to give to the ordinary first weekend Care & Education of Priests Collection, please use your envelope provided in your packet. Please be generous to Father Michael on August 4-5.
