Dato’ Sri Idris Jala

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department and CEO,PEMANDU

Dato' Sri Idris Jala, who is from the Kelabit ancestry, is the current Minister without Portfolio in the PrimeMinister's Department and chief executive officer of the Performance Management and Delivery Unit(Pemandu). He is a Senator in the Dewan Negara, upper

house of parliament. Before that, Idris used to work for Shell. In 2005, theMalaysian government elected him as CEO of Malaysia Airlines due to massivelosses of the company. In February 2006, he announced the airline's businessturnaround plan from a 9-month loss of USD400 million in 2005 to achieving arecord profit of USD260 million in 2007 until September 2009. In May 2008, Idrisappeared on national television announcing the airline's first ever 'zero fare' fordomestic and a selection of international flights, a move that raised his spatbetween him and AirAsia's boss, Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes to a new level. As ofSeptember 2009, Idris was sworn in as Minister in the Prime Minister'sDepartment. Idris was appointed Minister without Portfolio in the PrimeMinister's Department and chief executive officer of the PerformanceManagement and Delivery Unit (Pemandu).

Dinesh S.R is the Director of Frost & Sullivan’s GrowthImplementation Solutions Group in the Asia-Pacificregion. In this position, Dinesh is responsible for drivingstrategy consulting and implementation projects forclients and is a client partner for key accounts. Dinesh

Anextensive traveller, Guru is well accustomed to the complicated APAC and MiddleEastern region and understands it’s multiple vagaries. His career began in 1992 asa programmer working on core development projects on C/C++, VB, Java, HTML,databases, ERP/MRP solutions for UBICS (makers of the Kingfisher brand of beerand one of the largest multi-billion dollar group owning an IPL team and an F1team). Guru worked on projects for Maybank, Ambank, Digi, TelekomMalaysia, UOB Bank, DBS Bank, OCBC, Citibank, ANZ Bank, Standard CharteredBank, PT Indosat, PT ANZ Indonesia and several enterprise and medium sizedbusinesses covering banking, insurance, telecommunications and BPO’s. Gurujoined Servion Global Solutions as a Regional Service Delivery Manager based inSingapore in May 2010. He led the Asia Pacific delivery and support team for largescale projects. In May 2011, he was promoted as the Regional Sales Director,APAC for Servion. And in 2014, Guru was responsible for Servion’s Australiaexpansion plans with key objectives of building a market presence offering highvalue services to the Australian market. Isham Bin Ishak

Chief Operating Officer, SME Corporation

Isham Ishak is currently the Chief Operating Officer atthe Small and Medium Enterprise Corporation or SMECorp. His responsibilities include overseeing the day today operations of the Corporation, including acting asthe Secretary to the Board, finance, human resource,

administration including all 11 State offices nationwide. As the COO, he is alsoinvolved in the implementation, coordination and monitoring of the keyperformance index of the Corporation, SME development programmes and policydevelopment. SME Corporation is one of the nine agencies under the Ministry ofInternational Trade and Industry (MITI). SME Corp acts as the CentralCoordination Agency (CCA) coordinating SME related programmes of 15Ministries and 60 agencies. Isham started his government career as an AssistantDirector in 1994 with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). Heserved in various divisions including import and export, WTO, APEC and ASEAN.He also served as the Minister Counselor (MITI) at the Embassy of Malaysia inWashington DC. In addition to his responsibility as the COO at SME Corp, he isalso the Deputy Chief Negotiator in the TPP for Malaysia.

Manoj Menon

Ng Wan Peng

Chief Operating Officer, MDeC

Ms Ng Wan Peng is the Chief Operating Officer ofMultimedia Development Corporation (MDeC). Herareas of responsibility include Corporate Governance,Information Intelligence & Analytics and CorporatePerformance. Under her care are the different

Nitin Bhat

Nitin Bhat drives the consulting business for the ICTPractice in Asia Pacific, responsible for the performanceof all custom consulting studies as well as syndicatedprojects. He has amassed a wealth of knowledge in thetelecommunications and government sector, having

Vivek Vaidya who has a Master’s degree in Managementand Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering is the VicePresident of Asia Pacific for Automotive &Transportation and also heads the Global UrbanMobility tracking Program for the automotive practice

in the region. He has over 16 years of experience in the automotive industryincluding brand consulting and growth consulting.
