New Member ArticlesErik’s DeliCafe8300 Arroyo Circle #320 • Owners, Anthony and Robert Torres

The new owners of Erik’s DeliCafe located at 8300 Arroyo Cr. #320 in the Gilroy Premium Outlets (Applebee’s section), are no strangers to working in and operating restaurants. Robert & Anthony Torres’ parents owned the first Mexican food restaurant in Anchorage, AL, called La Cabana for 40 years. After mov-ing to California, they owned and operated the Prime Rib Inn in Palo Alto as well as other restaurants before retiring. Bob and Tony have long been involved in the food business and bring this expertise to their own restaurant in Gilroy. You will often find them working alongside their employees taking and filling orders. They are there to greet and thank their customers and are setting the example on how to provide excellent customer service. They are proud to be a Chamber member and are vested in our local community. You might notice the plaque on the wall congratulating them for the high ratings on their customer comment cards received at corporate headquarters. They have also received 100% scores from the “secret shopper” program put in place by the Outlets. The menu at Erik’s offers 23 sandwiches with character, tasty wraps and 7 soup selections as well as salads and other deli-delights. They provide catering services for offices and corporate events, as well as birthday and anniversary parties. You can reach them at 408-847-5252 or stop by for a bite.

Roadhouse Jack’s6945 Camino Arroyo • 408-848-1555

It takes more than fresh food and a large selection of beers to make the per-fect meal, which is why at Roadhouse Jack’s they focus on providing an entire experience that gets you excited to come back every time. Catch a game with a friend on one of the large flat screen TVs, or grab a seat at one of the din-ing room benches with the family while crunching on their free peanuts and listening to upbeat country music. Or, if you are short on time, use the drive-thru and take it to go. All of their beef burgers are 100% fresh beef, hand-formed daily and never frozen; their chicken burgers are all-natural, hormone free, fresh chicken. Roadhouse Jack’s prides themselves on the quality of their food, offer-ing fresh, not fast food.
