• There is a need for Statewide coordination for the implementation of a geocoding system– Rural vs Urban Areas
• Data returned is only as good as data entered– Database needs to be structured to accept GIS parameters
• Street Address• GPS Coordinates• PLSS reference
– Correct data entry procedures need to be followed to obtain accurate results
