The entrance is on Warwick Rd so follow our Churchlands signs to the car park. Happy new year dear Churchlands family! We enter the year of 2019 with great anticipation and excitement, knowing that for Churchlands, the best is yet to come! Our vision statement expresses clearly our priorities for the coming year: “We are a community committed to establishing God’s Kingdom, making disciples who are equipped for ministry, and who can take the light of Jesus into the world.” To understand what God is doing, we remember the three ‘P’s’: places, people and priorities. In the past year, God has miraculously moved us to a new place for our office and worship services. With a new place inevitably comes an influx of new people to join us on the journey of faith. We need to prepare for growth and to welcome new brothers and sisters to journey alongside us. God has given three priorities to guide us into the future: to strengthen our community, equip the saints, and take God’s Kingdom into every sphere of society. After 31 years of preparation, our Churchlands family is embarking on an exciting new adventure, guided by the Holy Spirit. Remember, God is building the house. In the coming year, we will begin to see the first fruits of His promise in Haggai 2:9, “The glory of this present house will be greater than the former house, says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” 2019 is indeed a happy new year! God bless you and your family as we move forward as ONE! Much love, John & Alaine McElroy SENIOR LEADERS
