The name Gilbert Lodge has been synonymous with quality

engineering products since John Gilbert-Lodge founded

the company in 1908. Gilbert Lodge was established as an

importer and distributor of machine tooling, and later was

the first company to bring locomotive engines into

Australia. The company has evolved into a leading provider

of an extensive range of high performance products and

solutions to Australian industry.

In 2010, we changed our branding to GLA to deliver a fresh

new image to the markets we have long serviced along

with the new areas into which we are actively expanding.

Our vision is to be the leading solutions provider to each of

the markets we serve, delivering top quality products with

old-fashioned personalised customer service.This aim and vision is central to all GLA staff who take

pride in developing strong working relationships with our

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide value added solutions, not just

Through our Engineered Solutions Division, GLA also

supplies a wide range of assemblies and kits to an

impressive list of utilities and OEM customers. This value-

added service is made possible by GLA's in-depth

knowledge of power utility and distribution requirements.

Our Performance

With offices and warehouses in every major state, GLA

holds significant inventory levels allowing us to supply our

customer needs on time.

Quality is central to the GLA methodology, and therefore

we are quality endorsed carrying AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000

accreditation.

Our People

At GLA, we believe that to offer the best possible service

our people need to have an intimate knowledge of ourproducts and their application within the customer's

environment. Our experienced, industry trained staff are

focused on supporting our customer needs and

engineering for excellence.

We have engineers, electricians, and logistics specialists

within our team. This provides GLA with the technical

experience needed to support the broad range of products

and markets we service. Our sales and engineering teams,

located in each state, continually update their knowledge

through training with our supplier partners, customers and

via external learning providers.
