Gladstone Engineering Alliance’s 9th annual Charity Golf Day is the ideal environment for GEA members and

non members to network with one another outside of the office, develop future opportunities for collabora-

tion, and give back to a local community charity. Staying connected and collaborating with one another is

more important than ever following COVID-19.

The GEA Charity Golf Day includes a morning of networking at the Gladstone club house, 18 hole golf

tournament, lunch and will finish the day with prizes and an official presentation.

This year GEA has chosen to support the great work of Gladstone Animal Rescue Group Inc., a dedicated team

of volunteers who work tirelessly to rescue and rehome animals in the Gladstone Region. In 2019 we had 28

teams take part in the GEA Charity Golf Day; raising $2500 for Calliope’s Historical Village. With your support

we look forward to surpassing that figure in 2020. See you on the green!

Gladstone Animal Rescue Group Inc. volunteers will host a BBQ Breakfast from 6:30 - 7:30am at the

Charity Golf Day. Bacon & Egg Burgers will be $5 each (cash only). Get a hearty breakfast to see yourself

through 18 holes of golf, and support local animals in need.

Sponsorship will be allocated only after receipt of a signed Sponsorship Application Form.

1. All Sponsors must behave in a manner at the 2020 GEA Charity Golf Day that reflects GEA’s core values. These include:

• Respect for our neighbours and the environment;

• Courtesy to our teammates and fellow competitors;

• Honesty and good sportsmanship.

2. After receipt of a compete application form, an email will be sent to confirm sponsorship and will include a tax invoice. The full sponsorship amount is payable within 30 days from the date of the invoice and is due before September 13, 2020. Payment plans are available and must be negotiated with GEA.

3. No Sponsor will be listed on any official golf day material until the full sponsorship fees have been received by GEA.

4. The 2020 GEA Charity Golf Day charity is Gladstone Animal Rescue Group Inc. They have exclusive rights to the event, and to the money raised on the day of the tournament. No Sponsor, or participating team, is allowed to bring another charity/ not-for-profit to the event for promotional/ fundraising purposes.

5. Display space on each golf hole/tee area will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis, and may be modified by GEA due to changes in event layout, venue or other factors.

6. Sponsor product demonstration, placement or handing out of literature, signage, and all furnishings must be within the confines of their assigned hole/tee area, and may in no way interfere with adjacent Sponsors’ spaces.

7. All furnishings, equipment and displays are the responsibility of the Sponsor, and must be constructed safely and must be installed, occupied and dismantled in accordance with GEA’s schedule.

8. GEA reserves the right to review all display materials provided by a Sponsor and may refuse permission to market any products or services GEA deems objectionable or unsuitable for the event.

9. GEA accepts no responsibility for damage to a Sponsor’s display by loss, theft, fire, water, storms, strikes, riots or any cause whatsoever. Sponsors are advised to insure against any such liability.

10. The Sponsor is responsible for all personal injury or damage to property arising in connection with their display area, however caused. The Sponsor will indemnify GEA in respect of any claims and demands in respect thereof.

11. Sponsors are encouraged to make available promotional material to be placed in The Golfer’s Survival Kit. All survival kit material is to be delivered to the GEA Office before October 30, 2020 to ensure inclusion. GEA will make every effort to ensure the care of promotional material; however no responsibility will be taken for loss or damage. Bottled water cannot be accepted as a promotional item for the kit as this is an exclusive sponsorship package.

12. GEA reserves the right to change the venue and/or duration of the 2020 GEA Charity Golf Day if exceptional circumstances demand. In the event of a change of venue and/or duration, the agreement to participate will remain in force so long as the Sponsor is informed at least one month prior to the changes.

13. Sponsors must receive written approval from GEA prior to assigning, subletting or apportioning the whole or any part of their Sponsorship Package to a third party.

14. In the event of Sponsorship cancellation, or withdrawal by the Sponsor, GEA reserves the right to retain 50 percent of sponsorship paid. No refunds of sponsorship monies will be given for cancellations received after September 30, 2020. All cancellations must be advised in writing.

15. Team Entry Fees, including Golf Buggy hire fees, are non-refundable if cancellation occurs after October 13, 2020.
