SECTION TWO

Blake Rhodes, The Australian Bass (WSS)

I drew the Australian Bass because it is a Native Australian Animal that I catch and release after school in the Baffle Creek at the back of our property.

Luca Doble, The Happy Green Turtle (AWSS) The happy green turtle swims through the warm waters of the Town of 1770. It relates to Australia because there are lots of turtles here.

First Prize: Georgia Snow The Wise Wombat (CSS)

I was inspired to draw "The Wise Wombat" because I love animals especially wombats and dogs. This watercolour painting reminds me of the time I held a baby wombat.

Third Prize: Jessica Foster Mountain with Cows (WSS)

I was Inspired by my home as we have a farm with mountains and cows.

Arsheen Duggal Awesome Australia! (GCSS) I think these are the things that make Australia special and unique. This drawing contains animals in

the shape of Australia, the Australian landscape and flags from other countries to show that we are a multicultural community.

Carson McKenzie The Gold Rush (YSS) Australia has some of the most beautiful animals and we are mainly known for our birds. I decided to draw a Rainbow Lorikeet because they are very bright and colourful, and great to draw. I also put the native wattle tree in the background to show some of Australia's nature.

Second Prize: Brock Treveton Rainbow Lorikeet (SSCPS) I drew this Rainbow Lorikeet because it shows the amazing colours of Australia.
