The Scottish airport was small ( the smallest I've ever seen) but confortable. When we left the airport, Threr were a lot of taxis waiting for us. (We were a big group, twenty in total, I think). Glasgow Diary

24th October 2012

Today I have got up at 5:30. And today I have gone to Glasgow. What a journey! The airplane was waiting for us at 10:00. But before we had to do a lot of things: Meeting with our other catalan partners, for example.

The journey by plane has been... good. (No comments....well, maybe we've had some turbulences, but nothing important.) And we've arrived to Scotland two hours later! My first impression? Oh so cold and windy! The Scottish airport was small ( the smallest I've ever seen) but confortable. When we left the airport, Threr were a lot of taxis waiting for us. (We were a big group, twenty in total, I think). The taxis are very curious. So different than ours. They look diferent and they are totally black. And very big inside!

Half hour we had arrived to the center of Glasgow. What a train station! So huge and old-fashioned style. The Glasgow streets have the same style. Medium-large buildings made of brown billets. I have seen that the building's rooves aren't' smooth, but triangular. After

walking so much carrying our suitcases, we finally arrived at the hotel.

The hotel is far away from Glasgow center. It´s small but cozy, and our bedroom is fantastic! So cute ;)

After the check in we have gone to have dinner in a restaurant next to the hotel with some Scottish boys and girls. We have had dinner with a Scottish girl called Martha, and after we have gone to the hotel to sleep. Tomorrow more!!

25th October 2012

After having a English breakfast, today we've started visiting schools. First, we have gone to Shawlands School. This school is far away from Glasgow and the biggest I've ever seen! There are a lot of different students. There, we have met many kind boys and girls and they have shown us the school. It is fantastic! And all students wear uniforms. We have met Sara and other great girls and we have made friends with them! It has been fantastic, we have been there until lunch. For lunch, we have gone to a very big canteen with a buffet. I have eaten a hot dog and a hot vegetable soup.

We were sad because we won't see us after this short meeting... and when we have said goodbye... BAAAAAAAAA BAAAAAA What's that? It sounded like a bell, but it wasn't breakfast time. Scottish teachers started saying: 'Go to playground! Go to playground' seriously. Our friends's came to us and told to us that it was the fire alarm. In the playground we were very happy. Thanks to alarm we spent more time together!

After leaving sadly Shawlands, we have gone to visit the center of Glasgow. We have been looking at shops, buildings... having a great time. And at 7:30 (yes! English people have luch early) we have gone to a little pizza restaurant and it has been so funny, joking and laughing all the time.

Today has been a great day!
