Weareunwillingtoacceptthatstatusquoisgoodenough.Our

mission is toquickly provide shelter,water and fuel to disaster

areas while providing donors, sponsors and other stakeholders

with full transparency, the ability to collaborate with us on our

project plans and full accountability for the work we have doneandtheresultsthatwehaveproduced.

Transparency is a lack of a hidden

agenda, accompanied by the

availabilityoffullinformationrequired

for collaboration, cooperation, and

collective decision-making. We use

digital technologies to provide full

accesstoinformationoneveryaspect

ofourorganizationandourapproach

to global issues. We pursue

collaboration in the creation and

implement of our project plans. We

promisethattheymoneyweraisewill

neverdisappearintoablackhole.

Accountability is the obligation to

account for activities, accept

responsibility for them, and to

disclose results in a transparent

manner. After implementing the

Village Tournesol program and its

components, we will provide a full

report on what the outcome of our

efforts were. This report will be

candid, and will be used for all

collaboratorstogainperspectiveand

to learn. We will use a Haitian

Communications Coordinator to help

Architecturewillbedesignedasaholisticsystemforgrowthandeducationintegratingefficientinfrastructure,nurturingenvironments,andlearningspacesthatareparticipatorywithinthe

landscapeandgardens.Thevocationalschoolwillintegratefarminglandforfruitsandvegetables,greenhouses,rainwaterharnessing,renewableenergy,sustainableconstruction,

artsandcraftsandlongtermdevelopmentopportunitiesformicroeconomies.

VillageTournesolisacritical,long-termstepinensuringthatHaitianshavetheinfrastructuretheyneedtomovepasttheheartbreakingsituationtheyhavefoundthemselvesin.Intheshortterm,apartnershipwithGlassFrogwilladdresstheimmediateneedsofthefutureinhabitantsofVillageTournesol.

During the two year Village Tournesol constructionperiod, GlassFrog will work to give thecitizensofJacmel access to basic necessities, including transitionary shelters that will protect them and theirfamiliesfromtheelementsandgivethemtheirownspace-aspacetheycantakeprideinandfindcomfortin.

It is also critical that the future residents ofVillageTournesol have accesstoclean water topreventanotherdevastatingoutbreakofcholera.GlassFrogwillprovideindustrialwatertankstomeetthisneed.

Wewillemploylocalresourcestoensurelongterm,sustainablebenefitstoJacmel.Duringthefirststage

ofimplementationofourVillageTournesolpartnerproject,weanticipatecreating 15jobs.

Afterprogramimplementation,wewillprovideafullreporttoGlassFrogstakeholdersontheoutcomesincludingphotos,factsandfigures,demonstratingourcommitmenttotransparencyandaccountability.

GlassFrog is a result of

frustration with the

inadequacies of aid in

addressing the humanitarian

crisisinHaiti.Thelinkbetween

the vast availability of human

resourcesandprovisionsversus

tangible progress in relief and

development goals were

indiscernibleduringourtimeon

the ground in Port-au-Prince.

We do not deny thatprogress

inrespondingtothemagnitudeofsuchadisasterwashindered

by thedevastating setbacks in

human life and infrastructure,

yet we are hesitant to accept

thatweareexhaustingourfull

potential as a global

community.
