A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL What a wonderful day we had

    at the Glenvale Games

    athletics carnival on Friday

last week. It was a fabulous

    last day for Education Week

2015. Thank you to all the

    families who came along to

help us and joined in the fun.

    Everyone had a great day.

Many thanks to the 22 young

    people and staff from Wyong

    Christian Community School

who helped out on the day

and to the members of the

    Tuggerah Lakes National

    Servicemen’s Association who

    donated their time and money

to provide a free BBQ lunch

    for everyone. Your help

    contributed to the success of

the day. It was a glorious day

    with the weather absolutely

    beautiful all day. Everyone

had fun, but the yellow Emus

won the cup at the end of the

    day . Congratu lat ions

    everyone.

    Gwenda Williamson

SCHOOLS TREE DAY We had a small group of absolutely fantastic parents come along to help on Schools

Tree Day as well as, on the North Entrance campus, a group of volunteers from

Coastcare. Many thanks for your help. We weeded and planted gardens and made a

start on getting these areas tidied up. As well as being much more attractive, they are

now safer from such things as spiders and snakes as we head into the summer months.

Many, many thanks for your help. There are some photos on the back page of this

    newsletter for you to enjoy.

Congratulations to all the students from Glenvale who received awards for excellence at

Wednesday’s awards ceremony at Narara Valley High School. It was wonderful to see our

students going up on to the stage with students from all of the other schools in our learning

community. The students behaved in a manner which did them great credit.

    The Glenvale School recipients were:

Skye McDougall Dante Murphy Brodie Martin

Zayne Douglas Mahalia Serrano Dylan Grant

Ned Hawke Nicholas Hansen Tyler Wallace

Jade McMahon Daniel Cowdrey Lily-Angel Vanderstelt

    Casey Enriquez-Bennett Adam Jones

Well done everyone, we are very proud of you.
