the Collège Saint-jean-VianneyThe Private Collège St-Jean-Vianney is located in the cosmopolitan city of Montréal, in the

STUDENT LIFEStudent life is an vital part of high school. Students are invited to create links with their school
and develop their artistic, sports, cultural or community talents and become involved
throughout the year outside of the class room. Student life also promotes integration with
others; it is a source of motivation, and an excellent way to bond with other students while
evolving through different activities.
The AFS participants will stay in shared rooms in a renovated
residence on the school campus. All meals are included on site.
Sport facilities are accessible for the participants. Located
beside a nature park and at 30 minutes to downtown Montreal
by car, it is the best of both worlds. Nature and city living!
AFS Canada will provide all orientation and camps for
participants. Local activities will be held on site as well as some
excursion. Monthly contact will be offered by a local staff in
the Collège along with AFS Canada. Our office is situated 30
minutes driving from the College. Local support and chaperone
on site is offered in all time.

MontrealWalk the streets of this city to admire the vestiges of its founding as a mission in 1642, and be
charmed by the harmonious juxtaposition of its architecture, both old and new. In this city of
more than 4 million inhabitants and no fewer than 120 nationalities, French and English
coexist alongside a myriad of other languages, and this mix of influences gives rise to a creative
exuberance that’s all its own. Montrealers, who are warm and very often multilingual, are
quick to strike up a conversation in the hope of getting to know you better. This innate sense of
hospitality makes this city a natural hub for exciting international festivals that take place one
after the other at a feverish pace.

Montreal was referred to as "Canada'sCultural Capital" by Monocle magazine.
