About the Editorial teamEdwin Vermulst, the editor of Global Trade and Customs Journal, has practiced international trade and EC law andpolicy in Washington, DC and Brussels since 1985 and is a founding member of the law firm of Vermulst Verhaeghe &Graafsma Advocaten. He is also a member of the Brussels bar. Mr. Vermulst was a WTO Panelist and has been involvedin WTO dispute settlement proceedings as a member of the delegation.

He has co-authored six books, including landmark comparative analyses of the anti-dumping systems of Australia,Canada, the EC and the United States with Professor John Jackson in 1989 and of rules of origin with Jacques Bourgeoisand Paul Waer in 1994, and numerous articles. Mr. Vermulst is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of World Trade and amember of the Editorial Advisory Board of Legal Issues of European Integration. He is a Member of the Faculty of theWorld Trade Institute in Bern.
