HARVARDSQUARE and GLOBAL WORKS

have partnered to offer professionally

guided, academic, and experiential

summer programs for aspiring pre-med,

engineering, pre-business, and middle

school students. These specially designed

programs for HS2 students will provide 2

week summer enrichment experiences in

2012. Each trip will feature practical field

experiences and opportunities to make

a difference in the lives of people in less

developed regions of the world.

program for aspiring pre-med and health students

who want to contribute to development efforts while

gaining practical field experience in Central America.

• ParticipateinactivitieswithMinistryofHealth

(MINSA)officialsfocusingonthehealthcaresystem

anditsoperationalfunctionsinthecountry.

• Attendseminarsontheinterfaceofsocioeconomic

factorsandtheepidemiologyofdiseaseinNicaragua.
