TOM DVORACEKDirector, Retail Development
Tom leads the research, development andoperations advisory team at McARTHUR +COMPANY. He has more than a dozen years ofexperience in retail development, asset management,operations and leasing with Dubai-based real estategiants such as Al Futtaim Group Real Estate, MajidAl Futtaim Properties and Emaar Malls Group. At MajidAl Futtaim, he was instrumentally involved in theplanning, re-development and leasing of Deira CityCentre, leasing and opening of Mirdif City Centre, andexpansion of Ajman City Centre. As Senior AssetManager at Emaar Malls Group, Tom oversawDowntown Dubai retail assets, and EmaarCommunities Centres. He left Emaar as GeneralManager of Dubai Marina Mall and Dubai Marina Retail.
Sylvie is a strategic thinker and CRM expert whobuilds McARTHUR + COMPANY’s market positiondeveloping, negotiating and closing businessrelationships.She was previously part of the operationsmanagement team at Dubai Miracle Garden, ahighly popular outdoor family entertainment venuein the heart of Dubai.In the development of Cityland Mall in Dubai, sheproved to be an essential asset in driving businessexpansion through aggressive deal negotiations.Sylvie is a Lebanese National and she is fluent inArabic, English and French.
SYLVIE SADDIK, MScGeneral Manager, Business Development | Marketing
Nebojsa has more than eight years’ experience inasset, property and leasing management for officeand retail projects. He was part of the largest Serbiandevelopment company – MPC Properties/MerrillLynch and also at Confluence Property Management,thelargest property management company in the Balkans.While at Confluence, he led the property managementteam at Usce Tower – and subsequently becameLeasing Manager of the Usce Shopping Center, thelargest in the Balkan region.
Matthew has spent more than 12 years researchingand analyzing retailer performance, as well as macro-economic retail and consumer trends in bothdeveloped and emerging markets. Before joiningMcARTHUR + COMPANY, Heworkedat PlanetRetail in London and Hong Kong, and was previouslyhead of retail research at Euromonitor International.As well as his retail industry reports in both print andbroadcast media, he has spoken at a number of tradeevents, including the National Retail Federation’s BIGShow and Reuters’ Consumer and Retail Summit.

After studying Hospitality Management in SouthAfrica Megan began travelling around the world,which ultimately lead her to the UAE. With abackground in administration work Megan beganher career in Dubai with MERAAS Holding, one ofthe leading lifestyle development companies,starting in the Retail department and then in theBusiness Excellence department. Megan has joinedthe Retail Development department at McARTHUR+ COMPANY where she will use her administrativeand organizational skills to assist with advancing themarket research across all projects in the GCC.

Usman is a highly accomplished, innovative andperformance-driven Finance and AccountsProfessional with over 7 years of an extensiveexperience in Accounting and FinanceOperations. He has been previously associated withErsnt & Young and AkzoNobel. His comprehensiveexperience in Strategic Financial Planning,Budgeting & MIS, IFRS and mobilization of fundsfor new growth opportunities has helped indelivering consistent results. He also played a keyrole in AkzoNobel in carrying out various FeasibilityStudies for CAPEX investments and launching ofnew ventures.
USMAN SAQIB, ACCAGeneral Manager, Finance
Amit is a passionate real estate professional withmore than 15 years’ experience in India andDubai. He currently spearheads theimplementation and management of strategicleasing initiatives and conducts in-depth analysesof markets and customized tenant mix solutions.He has worked in India with prestigiouscompanies such as Ivanhoe Cambridge, PrestigeDevelopers and Cushman and Wakefield, andhas vast experience in sales/leasing strategiesbusiness development, investment advisory andretail functions.
Ehsan attended University College London (UCL) where he obtained a First Class honours in Project Management for Construction. After graduating, he undertook an internship at CBRE before joining GAP Inc. where he worked on the European retail portfolio. Prior to joining McArthur & Company, Ehsan was part of Knight Frank’s retail agency team and was responsible for leasing retail space across the UAE. Ehsan is currently in the process of undertaking the APC in order to become chartered by the RICS through the commercial property pathway. He currently works with both retail operators and landlords in leasing and acquiring retail accommodation.
