The most memorable moment was when an elderly lady came to the hospital and she was scared. Her family wasn’t able to come while she was having surgery and she really didn’t want to be alone. So I sat down in her room with her before and after her surgery. We watched TV and talked. We talked about my dreams and the dream she had when she was my age. She told me about how rough her child hood was but she still grew up and became what she wanted to be, a lawyer. She really inspired me because some of the things she went through I went through and felt how she felt.
Volunteering at St. Vincent hospital was an astounding experience!! I learned so many things and was able to help people. I learned how to deal with different situations. I met various people and saw people I knew. I could defiantly consider volunteering there again
