Focke Meler has created the winding-unwinding machine for the continuous application of adhesives on PVC substrates and textiles. Thanks to its modular design, this high-performance unit adapts to each customer’s specific needs.

FEATURES

• The coating head can be adjusted to different application widths and a variety of substrates. Provides an even, continuous and reliable application.

• It has lack of material and full drum detection sensors.

• The structure is designed to facilitate access to all machine areas.

• A loading cell controls the correct material tension at all times to obtain even application and perfect rewinding.

• The PLC controls adhesive application.

• The machine is compatible with hot melt adhesives (EVA-based hot melt and PUR adhesives).

ADVANTAGES

• The adhesive can be supplied by a variety of external dosing devices. These are capable of providing high flows of adhesive, also ensuring the right grammage across the entire application width.

• Automatic recoil if the application stops, to ensure that 100% of the adhesive remains on the substrate.

• Equipped with a head-to-substrate approximation system that prevents damage during production stops.

• Its design enables single drum-threading.

• Equipped with an automatic head cleaning system.

• Manual drum loading and unloading is fast and easy.

CONTROL PANEL

• The touch screen is used to control all operating modes by means of an intuitive, user-friendly menu.

• It has the following available operating modes: automatic, manual, cleaning-operation and drum threading.
