Ministry of Annual Giving Campaign Update Pledges Received for 2015: 218 (+11 over 2014) Total Dollar Amount Pledged for 2015: $963,042 (+ $94,682 over 2014) Average Pledge Amount for 2015: $4,417 (+ $222 over 2014)

Rector’s Note: I want to thank everyone who has made a pledge to support the whole life and ministry of Christ Church, and to express a special feeling of gratitude to all who either made a written pledge for the first time or increased their pledge in recognition that a) we can’t plan and resource ministry well without written pledges and b) that the cost of our present ministries is above what we had been giving. While challenges remain (when will we not have challenges in this life?) – including, for example, the approximately $1.45 million dollars of debt not raised by the One Great Purpose campaign – our Pledges for 2015 are evidence of a forward moving, hope filled congregation committed to the Gospel value of the life of this great Parish church in our lives: this is a place that blesses us and others and we want to support it. I praise God and thank you for that! As we now move forward into 2015 and continue with our Parish norm that every household is asked to make a written Pledge, I encourage all those who have not yet done so that you may do so at any time and it will be gratefully received. Finally, to all who support the church with giving either pledged or not pledged: recognizing that our expenses occur throughout the year, the best way to bless your church is to make your offerings throughout the year, too!
