The Go Sound drivers GSD-15 are high-performance, drivers designed for back-ground music and speech reproduction in a wide range of commercial applica-tions, including retail, restaurant and hospitality establishments. Clean design, sleek styling invisibly blends into ceilings and walls.The drivers meets numerous standards for combination music and evacuation systems around the world.The driver is engineered for installation in ceilings as well as walls and any type of resonating material . The driver can be used as an 8-ohm device connected to a low impedance ampli-fier as well as 70/100V paging.Paging application can be set by using an innovative and compact toroidal trans-former.The performance of the driver can be maximized through the use of the recom-mended Go Sound instructions or by using equipment with parametric equaliza-tion. The driver is acoustically compatible with the standards loudspeakers and can be integrated on the same line.The driver meets numerous standards for combination music and evacuation sys-tems around the world.

Detailed Product Specifications

Performance of the driver can be maximized through the use of the recommended Go Sound instructions or by using other equipment with parametric equalization.

How our Loudspeakers are Measured

1. Power handlingFull-bandwidth pink noise, meeting the IEC Standard #268-5, is applied to the driver and amplified to a level at the driver terminals corresponding to the power handling of the driver. The loudspeaker must show no visible damage or measur-able loss of performance after 200 hours of continuous testing.

2. SensitivityFull-bandwidth pink noise is applied to the driver with its active equalization curve and amplified to a level at the driver terminals corresponding to 1 watt, as referenced to the nominal impedance. The average sound pressure level (dB-SPL) is measured at 1 meter from the speaker in an anechoic environment.

3. Maximum SPL Full-bandwidth pink noise is applied to the driver with its active equalization curve and amplified to a level at the driver terminals corresponding to the long-term rated power handling of the speaker. The average sound pressure level (dB-SPL) is measured at 1 meter from the speaker in an anechoic environment.

4. Frequency rangeSine waves are injected into the driver, and the level is adjusted to 1 watt, as ref-erenced to the nominal impedance, and the level measured at 1 meter. Resulting graph is smoothed by 0.05 octave-band.
