Project Overview

The team intends to build an educational toy for special needs children to develop their learning skills.

Our client is the “Special Care Center” in Abu Dhabi, and will be used by the children in the center.

“The Special Care Center is seeking proposals from experienced engineering companies for the design of an educational toy for use in our classrooms. The toy should be suitable for children with varying disabilities and should be appropriate for use in a class room environment. The toy must be safe, affordable and reliable.”

Revised Client statement

• “The team should build an educational toy to support the learning experience of the special needs children in the Special Care Center. As the client has stated the toy will be used by children with various disabilities in a classroom environment, therefore it is important that the toy has to be portable. The client also required the toy should be easy to use by the teachers and the children themselves with a minimum purchase cost. The most important factors that the toy’s safety and reliability should be guaranteed.”
