Mission of the Month FPC ANGEL TREE Each year at this time we look forward to the Angel Tree, an opportunity to bless others at Christmas. This year, we are approaching the Angel Tree from a Global Focus perspective. We will be offering Angel Tree tags with gift ideas for our missionaries! Look for the Angel Tree in the corridor from December 17th-January 7th.(More information will be available in the corridor.) Please make sure to have your gifts in by January 7th. We will present the gifts to the missionaries during our GIC in February. (Mark your calendars! GIC Feb 7-11.) Upcoming Dates to Remember: January 7th- Sunday School RESUMES, No Children’s Church- Communion Sunday February 7th- Global Focus, Wednesday: 7:00- 8:00 pm-Sons and Daughters to perform. If you would like to be added to the E-mail please contact chuck@firstprotestant.com. Parking Information As a courtesy, we reserve the curbside parking on Coll St by the sanctuary and the drive-thru parking area by the school for the elderly, handicapped, or those who require assistance. There is always an Ambassador there to greet and offer assistance. Also, we prohibit parking on the curbside by the Seele Parish Hall for the safety of the children going in and out. Media Outreach All posters, flyers, or literature posted on the bulletin boards, Connection Centers, or distributed on church grounds must be approved by the church office. All requests for approval must be made by noon on Tuesdays to be posted by church staff on Fridays. Entries for the Sunday bulletin must also be submitted by noon on Tuesday for the upcoming Sunday. Nursery We offer a staffed nursery for age birth through 3 years old in the First Protestant School area during the 10:30 Sunday morning service. Please see an usher for assistance. Closed Doors, Open Arms It is necessary to keep doors in all FPC buildings closed so that our AC/Heating systems will work properly. All the calls are routed through San Antonio. Therefore, it is IMPERATIVE that family, friends and loved ones call FPC church office or notify the pastors of any hospitalizations.
