As we begin 2017, we are amazed at how far God has brought Victory in our fourteen years of care. When we look to the future, we pause to remember the principal focus of Victory God originally placed on the hearts of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Lightfoot. This God-centered focus is what drives the staff and volunteers to daily enter into the hurt and needs of our patients and share the light of Jesus Christ. This focus is the motivator to be successful in all aspects of Victory. But more importantly, we pursue making a significant impact in the lives of the patients we are privileged to serve. This significance we strive towards is lasting and immeasurable.. It is holding patients by the hands and interceding for them through prayer. It means working tirelessly to get the patients the lifesaving care they need for their illnesses. The impact of this significance is walking into an exam room and hearing a patient say, “I have found Him.”

We believe that 2017 will be another year where God changes lives significantly. Because ofthe compassionate generosity of our donors, partners and volunteers who join us in our pursuit ofsignificance, our patients can receive a complete spectrum of care. Because of you our patients can experience hope, find healing, and have their dignity restored as they take ownership of their healthcare. God shows Himself daily at Victory through the patients who get the physical and spiritual care they need, and in many cases, cannot get anywhere else. Offering Hope: The Standing Stone Society As we look back on 2016, Victory can clearly see the eternal impact the support from our faithful donors has made in the lives of the thousands of patients we are privileged to serve. The joining of hope and healing saves lives physically and restores lives spiritually and emotionally. Because of you, a critically ill patient had access to a specialist who provided life-saving care, a patient took a deep breath as a result of the Pulmonary Clinic, a diabetic received their insulin for no cost and a listening ear was given to a patient battling depression from an abusive relationship. Patients experience the hope from the Ultimate Healer in a clinic that will care for their needs in a dignified manner. I had never been sick. My journey with Victory has included counseling, surgery, medication assistance, and most importantly, the staff and volunteers being the hands and feet of Jesus. Hope is visibly seen in the care and love shared with the patients from the volunteers who faithfully serve at Victory each week. Our volunteers live out Victory’s mission statement by ‘making Jesus Christ known’ through the way they serve our patients. From answering phones, to sorting medications, and taking a patient’s temperature; each task is meaningful and is making a difference at Victory.
