Solar Air Collectors: As natural as the air we breatheSolar air collectors heat industrial and office buildings, halls,

workshops and public buildings with the help of two of the

most important and natural elements on our planet: fresh air

and sun! This natural combination offers a unique wellbeing

factor.

Solar energy is converted to pleasant heat via the medium of air, which is then supplied directly to heat your rooms as fresh air, or used by an existing heating system. The advantage: the heat is directly available without storage!

SUNNY TIMES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND YOUR WALLET

Maximum energy savings thanks to effectiveness levels of up to 80 % *, short amortisation times and the new BAFA innovation funding which

currently totals up to 180 Euros per m2, promise sunny times for your wallet. The most pleasant side effect: LUBI Wall is so efficient that environmentally unfriendly CO

2 emissions are consid

erably reduced.

FRESH AIR FOR FRESH IDEAS

Everyone knows about the problem of stuffy rooms and halls. A healthy and pleasant room climate that gives one space to think is essential. LUBI Wall gives a kick of freshness and doesn‘t leave you standing in the cold either.

During the course of the implementation of the EnEV and EEWärmeG (German Energy Saving and Renewable Energy Regulations), more and more house facades are being insulated. These insulation measures help save energy, but they are leaving rooms – which, as legally required, are getting ever more insulated – with almost no air to breathe. The lack of fresh air is beneficial to neither people nor to the machines or products that are stored in the rooms. To prevent the threat of damp from developing indoors, sufficient supply of fresh air is necessary – with LUBI Wall this is guaranteed.

New BAFA innovation funding**:

Solar collec tor systems with a gross collector of up to 100 m2 are eligible for funding. The system has to effectively provide heat to the room heating or hot water heater in residential buildings with at least three residential units, or non residential buildings with a useful space of at least 500 m2.

PATENTED TECHNOLOGY – NATURALLY STRAIGHTFORWARD

Sometimes it is the solutions that are the most ”simple“ at first glance which achieve the greatest success. It is the same with LUBI Wall. The principle of operation is extremely straightforward: solar energy is converted into heat using air – no storage needed. This means that the warm fresh air is directly available for the heating system. The solar rays penetrate the transparent polycarbonate of the panels and reach the back wall – and either the house facade directly, or a specifically supplied underlay functions as a ”solar absorber“. At this point the solar rays are converted into heat and form a layer of air behind the panels, which is up to 45 degrees Celsius warmer than the environmental temperature.

The trick: highly efficient ventilators draw fresh air into the system through 900 holes which are only 2 mm in size on each individual panel.

This then mixes with the warm layer of air and continues to warm up on the absorber. With this genius system, air from the outside constantly meets with the absorber and ensures a consistent level of effectiveness. The full surface of the collector is also cooled to the environmental temperature. Thanks to the patented perforated glazing technology, losses of heat can be reduced to an absolute minimum.

In contrast to heating systems which include a storage medium such as water, an air based system is able to offer a wide range of advantages: in winter the use of antifreeze products is not required – the LUBI Wall cannot ice up. In the summer there is no risk of overheating. Stagnation problems, such that often occur with water based systems, are a foreign concept to owners of a LUBI Wall.

FLEXIBLE IN USE

The areas where the LUBI wall can go into use are numerous – office and industrial buildings, workshops, storage warehouses, schools and other public buildings, exhibition rooms and sports halls. The patented solar air collector is either directly planned in during the construction or subsequently installed on the external facade, which can consist of concrete, metal, brickwork or other materials.

The hot air is used flexibly: directly for heating, to preheat the air for directly gas – fired low intensity heaters or warm air heaters, as process heat or in the context of drying technology.

LONG PRODUCT LIFE

With an exceptionally long lifespan of at least 25 years and a guarantee of five years, the LUBI Wall is exceptionally robust.

Initial

project

Wind and weather have no influence on its performance. The light and yet solidly manufactured panels are impervious to either snow or wind.

Unsightly old facades or leaky walls? As a retrofit system, the LUBI Wall also provides active, waterproof insulation.

CUSTOMIZED PROJECT MANAGEMENT

GoGaS sees every customer and every project as being individual. Location and building specific factors are taken into consideration just as much as the aesthetic incorporation in the architecture. In addition to the delivery of the innovative components we will also ensure assembly, servicing and maintenance, and support you with your planning permission.
