ICTACT Youth Summit 2016

vICTACT Digital Youth summit’s at B.S ABDUR RAHMAN UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI on January 30, 2016

v Today’s Technology made life easier and better. Technology is one of the principal driving forces of the future; it is

transforming our lives and shaping our future. Gojan is keeping this point in mind and motivate our young Engineers to

participate in technology oriented programme. On January 30, 2016 we sent our students to participate in ICTACT

Digital Youth summit’ Programme. The main objective is to bring together the next generation of digital innovators in

India, with a primary focus on technology entrepreneurship, on-line work and ‘tech for social’ innovation. The

ICTACT series of summit for the YOUTH has already become a reference event for the youth of the nation. The

ICTACT Digital Youth Summit will be based on three synergetic fundamentals of Digital Technology in Innovation

and Entrepreneurship.

v It is a one day summit, inviting at least 2500 student participants from across the nation. Thirty students of Gojan

participated and benefited. The summit will comprise of plenary sessions with leading expert, breakout sessions on the

various aspects of tech entrepreneurship, on-line and social innovations, Power panel discussion on various topics and

so on. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with leading and emerging digital innovators, entrepreneurs,

freelancers, startup community leaders, investors and other stakeholders.

Zonal Competation

vAnna University Inter Zone Athletics Meet was held at Kongunadu of Engineering College four day competition 2

November, 2015 to 5, November, 2015. Our Student Manicka Raja, of EEE IV Yr has participated in the event of 100

mtrs and his best timing is 11.14 seconds.

vAnna University Inter Zone Best Physique Tournament was held at Sasurie Engineering College (Kovai). Our

Students Manikandan, of ECE IV yr, Karthick, of ECE IVyr and Janagan, AERO. IV yr has participated in the

competition. Our student Janagan, of Aero. IVyr, won the silver medal for our college. Its on 9 December, 2015 to 10

December, 2015.
