Basic Leadership SkillsBring excitement and set the paceAs a Silver Ambassador, you are a leader. You have at least three Ambassadors looking for your help to guide their Plexus® journey and you

are now a smart, e ective business person. Here’s what you can do to develop leadership skills that can help you grow as a leader.

Stay plugged into your uplineAs you still develop leadership skills, stay plugged into your upline and allow your team to do the same. You aren’t a Jewel yet, so your

upline can help train your team and you to strengthen your leadership skills.

Show up each dayStay focused, committed and credible. Don’t put your future in the hands of your team, but stay in the game and show up every day to keep

your team on track. Are you still adding new Ambassadors and customers?

Lead your team by example and keep building your personally sponsored Level 1 Ambassadors to create a solid foundation that is deep and

wide. The more leaders you bring up, the more momentum and growth you’ll fi nd for your team and your business.

Communication is keyGreat leadership skills require learning a variety of communication styles to best train your team and learn to work with a variety of

personality styles. You will be more comfortable with certain forms of communication, but don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone to

reach more of your potentials and communicate with your team. Doing so will stretch your leadership skills to build a strong team.

Build Your Team - Gold Basic Leadership Skills

Activity: 1. Create a focus group with 5 to 6 people on your team to discuss the 21 Laws of Leadership by John Maxwell. Focus on discussing

one chapter each week to help your team and you learn leadership.

2. Write down your favorite communication styles. Set a goal to try two communication styles you haven’t tried before.

3. Write down your team’s strengths and where you can improve.

Teach and be teachableKeep your training simple, duplicatable, and compliant. Be open to hosting a variety of trainings and meetings. You can get help from your

upline to host or even have them lead your event to learn how to host your own.

Test out online, in-home, live, Zoom calls and Facebook meetings. What events work best for your team and potentials?

Don’t completely rely on social media to train and drive your business, but set up a variety of meetings and trainings to strengthen your

leadership skills and support your team.

Use Plexus® resourcesYou aren’t left to build on your own! You have access to a variety of Plexus materials in your shareables library. Use these materials as a

resource to share information and use the Rank Up RoadmapTM to train your team.

Stay confi dentYou are a leader! Continue to develop your confi dence and belief in yourself. Bring excitement to your team and be a positive problem solver.

Set the tone for your team. As you do, your team will also build their confi dence in pursuing their Plexus journey.

Take time to refl ectStep back and take time to refl ect on what is or isn’t working for your team. Ask yourself these questions:

1. What are your team’s strengths?

2. Where are you seeing results?

3. What can you improve?

4. Who are your runners?

5. Which team members show up at events? Who registers for Convention?

Never waiver in your beliefYou are your team’s belief and that belief is contagious. Teach your team to be positive thinkers when challenges and road blocks come. This

will help them in all areas of life. Guide your team and teach them a simple duplicatable process, but don’t do everything for them. Allow

your team to “fail forward” and learn on their own. You are their #1 fan, so cheer them on and allow them to grow.
