Regular shapes, rectangular, cow-faced are also acceptable.

Odd shaped plots e.g. triangle, cleaver-shaped, oval shaped, chariot wheel, hexagon,

octagon and irregular parallelograms are not desirable.

All irregular and odd shaped plots need to be divided or modified so that more closely

plots approximate a square or rectangle.

Axis of land should match with the magnetic axis of the arth.

Orientation of plot should be towards the !ardinal directions of "orth, ast, #est and

South.

A vidisha or cross axis plot is the plot where axis of the plot is not parallel to themagnetic axis and the deviation is more than $%. An xample is shown below &

Refrigerator should be )ept away from the coo)ing oven because of their nature of

opposite elements. 4ood color for the refrigerator is white, blue, green and silver.

xhaust fans are good provided these are placed correctly. 9t is not bad if a large window

exists in the )itchen to get rid of coo)ing odours and unhealthy smells.

)itchen because the elements clash between themselves. /he )itchen should have good air and ample sunlight. Arrangements should also be made

for sufficient light during the night.

1itchen should be periodically de-cluttered. Also, all possible sound polluting equipment

should be repaired to avoid noisy sounds of vi3., squea)ing machines, vibrating

refrigerators, roaring exhaust fans and humming mixers.
