In February 2005, Adriano Goldschmied fused his admiration and respect for cutting-edge fashion knowledge by launching Goldsign, a brand for the denim enthusiasts who desire a collection where understated luxury meets innovation and technique. As the man responsible for pioneering designer denim, Goldschmied applies his highly conceptual vision to the collection each season. He creates a story of fashion by taking different textiles, fits, finishes and treatments and putting them together in new ways. Within the Resort 2010 Collection, Creative Director Adriano Goldschmied continues to build upon what he and the brand are best known for; innovative & luxurious fabrics, strong silhouettes & superior fit, as well as ground-breaking wash techniques that enhance the inherent beauty of each piece. Careful attention to detail and craftsmanship ensure that each garment is fully cultivated. This season, Goldschmied continues to pioneer; super stretch is now offered in velvet, sateen and luxurious hues, French Terry is given a novel spin with sequins, and wool is redefined. Neutral bottoms compliment the rich shades of indigo, saturated blacks and deep grey tones of this season’s color palette, all of which have been washed to a luxe hand feel. The direction in shapes is straightforward and effortless: the introduction of the trouser & the wide leg in indigo & wool, the reemergence of the bootcut and the continuation of slim & skinny jeans & leggings.
