We’re serious about golf at The Del because we know the San Diego golf experience alone can have the greatest impact on achieving a client’s conference objectives or meeting a resort guest’s leisure expectations. For that reason, in 1998 Hotel del Coronado partnered with National Golf Event Management, Inc. to provide our hotel guests and groups with individual golf reservations and golf management services for tournaments and corporate golf outings.
National Golf Event Management has been providing our business meeting, convention and incentive program clients with the finest corporate golf management services available in San Diego. They are the largest and most experienced golf management company in San Diego and their expertise and reputation within San Diego’s golf and hospitality industry is longstanding and unequaled.
The National Golf Event Management staff will operate as a specialized extension of your meeting planning team to advise, plan, set-up, coordinate and manage every detail of your golf event from course selection to scoring and awards presentation on the day of play.
Whether you need information, recommendations and service for a small group of 8 players or you’re requiring professional golf management and planning service for a formal golf tournament of 100 players or more, National Golf Event Management has the staff and experience to ensure your golf event will be as relaxing, fun, successful and memorable as it absolutely MUST be!

CORONADO MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSEThis municipal golf course is set beneath the majesticCoronado Bridge and it has some of the best harbor and San Diego skyline views. This scenic course alongGlorietta Bay has open tree-lined fairways, large greens, and is ideal for the recreational golfer. William Francis Bell, original designer of Torrey Pines Golf Course, redesigned Coronado GC in 1968.

TORREY PINES MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSEHome of the 2008 and 2021 US OpenChampionship and PGA Tour event FarmersInsurance Open played every year in late January or early February. Both 18-hole courses (North &South) are very scenic with beautiful ocean views.
Due to this Municipal Golf Course being one of the busiest courses in the nation, availability for group events and/or tournaments (16-144 players) is limited. A minimum of 16 players must be guaranteed in order to request a tournament or group event booking at Torrey Pines Golf Course. To book a shotgun start, in most cases, a minimum guarantee of 144 players (course buy-out) is required. Full course buy-out shotgun starts are available at either 7:00 am or 1:00 pm. Modified shotgun starts are available for smaller groups of 32 players or more with starting time of 8:30 am or earlier. Torrey Pines group event bookings can be contracted within the following time frames: • 16 to 69 players – no earlier than 4 months prior to day of play • 70 to 143 players – no earlier than 12 months prior to day of play• 144 players (shotgun, course buy-out) – no earlier than 24 months prior to day of play

Designed by Johnny Miller and Robert Muir Graves, Maderas Golf Club offers a unique combination of golf course strategy and design mastery, while taking the concept of upscale golf to exhilarating levels. Included in Golf Digest’s Top 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses list Maderas is one of the “must play” golf courses in San Diego.

STEELE CANYON GOLF CLUB (SEMI-PRIVATE)This 27-hole golf course is the centerpiece of the 493-acre gated golf community, designed by Gary Player with respect and appreciation for the natural beauty of the terrain. Each of the three nines offer a distinct environment and type of play for all levels of golfers with the rugged Canyon Course’s dramatic shot making challenges and elevations, the Ranch Course winding through the fields of a working ranch, and the Vineyard Course stretching along its own vineyard and the valley floor with beautiful woodlands and streams.

RIVERWALK GOLF CLUBDesigned by famed golf architect Ted Robinson, what once was flat and barren marshland has been transformed into undulating fairways, waterfalls and well protected bent grass greens. Conveniently located in Mission Valley just north of downtown San Diego.
