1st Kick Soccer Program
What is 1st Kick Soccer?
* This program is designed for parents who don’t have the time after work
and school to drive all over town. I will go to the child's daycare, take
them out of the classroom and teach them the beginning stages of soccer.
This will be a great introduction to the upcoming soccer season..
Why do I want to do this program?
This will be my 3rd season with this program. When my son turned three
in February of 2009. I wanted him to join a team in the Fall. I came to
realize that there isn’t a program in our immediate area that serves this
age group. My goal is to teach the kids the basics so they are one step
ahead by the time they join a league team. I want everyone’s child,
including mine, to have the opportunity to be introduced to the game at an
early age.
What will this golf event do?
Proceeds from the golf tournament will make it possible for children who
cannot afford to be in the soccer program otherwise. The benefits are
great. Kids will learn the fundamentals of soccer and hopefully be
inspired to join a team in the future. Equipment, t-shirts, videos, pictures
and other training devices will be purchased to help each child
understand the game better. At the end of the program, children will
receive a certificate and/or trophy to show their involvement as well as
accomplishments in the program.
