Good photography guide
All staff are required to supply a standing and belly up photo wearing corporate attire.
The Marketing team can decline photos that are deemed unsuitable, so it’s important to supply the right photos.
Company photos
Half shotPlease ensure both shoulders and arms are visible in the shot. lmage must be taken just above the belly line.
No hands on hips!
All photos must be taken on a white or very light background. Photo must be supplied at 300dpi.
Full standing shotlndividuals must be on a slight angle with the left foot in front of the right foot.

Company uniform must be wornThis includes all Property Managers, administrators and personal assistants. lf you do not have a company tie, one will be provided by an approved photographer.
MenBlack or dark suit, white plain shirt and company tie.
WomenBlack or dark suit with long pants or black skirt and jacket, plain white collared shirt or blouse. No bright colours or heavy jewellery.
Please Note: We ask that you are in a tidy state for the photos, so if you need a hair cut or a shave please ensure that you do this before the photo shoot.

Great photographyYou wouldn’t take a property to market with poor photos, so why wouldn’t you take that same approach with your personal marketing?

What to wear • Wear clothes that are comfortable, make you look great,
and appeal to your target market
• Make sure your jacket and shirt fit you well. A poor fitting jacket or shirt will be obvious in photos (especially around the neck)
• Clothes should be neatly pressed and should look new or like new.
• Avoid busy patterns and large lines or stripes.
• Blue / green / turquoise tops or accent accessories help emphasise blue / green / hazel eyes.
Location, location, location • Where are you selling? Is there anything iconic in the
area that people will recognise (e.g. statues, beaches, cafes, architecture etc.)?
• What types of properties do you sell? These can be incorporated in the background, or you could be photographed inside a style of property you sell.
How many photos should I get? lt’s always best to get a variety of photos all at once. The more you have, the more the designers can do when it comes to your personalised marketing.
Here are a few more things to consider: • Provide a variety of different distances e.g. close up,
mid shots and full standing shots. We can always crop an image, but we can’t create more of an image. What might look good on an profile brochure might not work on a landscape DL.
• lf you’re part of a team, it’s important to get both team photos and individual shots. While you are working together currently, things could change in the future.
ls there anything I need to request from the photographer? We’ll need to receive the highest resolution images. This is the best quality you can get and means that, if you do decide to book outdoor advertising such as billboards, your photos will be suitable.
ln order to get the best photos, make sure to tell your photographer exactly what you’re after. Take some reference images and take some clothing alternatives if you want a variety.
Can the Marketing team Photoshop my images? The Design team will not alter your photos dramatically. Below is a list of what we can and can’t do.
CAN
• Clear cut studio photos
• Brighten or lighten where necessary
• Minor photoshop work
CAN’T
• Change your appearance (younger, smaller, taller etc).
• Alter your clothing in any way
• Extend cropped photos
ln addition to the company uniform photos, every sales consultant should have promotional photos taken.
