THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD
YOUTH LIFE: Youth Life will resume our
regular schedule THIS Sunday, January 7th
for high school and Monday January 8th for
middle school.
YOUTH LIFE SKI TRIP: to Perfect North
Slopes will be Saturday February 17th. Forms

ADULT CONFIRMATION: Preparation classes for
Confirmation for adults (ages 18 and over) who are
practicing Catholics (Baptized and receiving Eucharist)
but simply have never received the sacrament of Confirmation will be held at the Catholic Center, 1310 W.
Main St., Lexington, KY. Participants may choose one of
two sessions, both of which include 5 mandatory classes. Sponsors are invited and encouraged to
participate with the candidates. Dates: Session I:
Wednesdays: January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7 OR Session II: Wednesdays: February 21, 28, March 7, 14,
21. Please contact Karen Rood at [email protected] or

information and to register. (There must be a minimum of 4 participants each for either session to take place). Once
completing the preparation, candidates may either receive
the Sacrament on Pentecost Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the 5 pm Mass at the Cathedral of Christ the King or at
their parish with the youth when Bishop John comes to
celebrate Confirmation.
DIABETES EDUCATION AND SUPPORT GROUP:
New Beginnings—First ever meeting will be Thursday,
January 11, 2018 at the Franklin County Public Health
Center (East-West Connector). Time: 11:30 to 12:30 p.m.
Frequently requested by those with pre-diabetes, diabetes,
and those with an interest in diabetes. Everyone is
welcome.
SCOUT SUNDAY: If you are a Catholic Boy Scout, Girl Scout, Cub Scout, Brownie, or Troop Leader, our parish
will be recognizing "National Scout Sunday" inviting all
Scouts to sit together in a reserved seating row(s) in our worship space during the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday,

ST. VINCENT de PAUL: Members will hold the
buckets for the poor of our community after all the
Masses THIS weekend, January 6 & 7, 2018. Please
be generous, as the need for assistance increases
during the winter months.
