Is about people. People are very different.

English Pubs are very different from one another but all

set out to be welcoming and play an important part in English life.

The pub is above all else is a place to relax, where refreshments,

hospitality, friends, conversa�on and humour all abound.

The Goose & Gridiron was a landmark pub in London, England.

On June 24, 1717 the Grand Lodge of England in free masonry was

organized and ‘to which all grand lodges of the world trace their charters’.

It is our intent at the Goose (which is what we affec�onately call our pub)

to recreate a landmark again, right her in beau�ful historic

Merrickville and experience part of the English life.

We hope that you, our customers and friends enjoy our Canadian place.
