Urban Development and Housing Department (UD&HD), Government of Jharkhand invites application from

interested professional for the post mentioned below on purely contractual basis under Atal Mission for

Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).

1. Terms of Engagement: The appointment of professionals will be purely on contract basis for a

period of (1) One Year, which may be extended after the annual review of performance, output and

desired impacts. However, the contract may be terminated in the case of unsatisfactory service.

2. The successful candidate will have to sign a contractual agreement in the prescribed format.

3. The contract shall not confer any rights or claim of extension/absorption in the department. The

candidate will have to produce and affidavit in this case.

4. Candidate should be below 50 years of age as on the last date fixed for submission of the application.

5. Last date for online submission of Application: 07/12/2018 till 5:00 PM.

6. The qualification and experience for different category of post is described in Appendix-A.

7. The selection of the candidate will be completely on the basis of Essential Qualification, Additional

Qualification, Experience and Interview.

9. The list of shortlisted candidate will be uploaded in the Notice section of the website: -

udhd.jharkhand.gov.in and the candidate will be intimidated about the date of interview.

10. The department reserves the right to cancel/postpone the recruitment wholly or partially if so

required. No claim will be admissible in case of such cancellation/postponement.

Appendix A

1 Team Leader cum Urban Planner

Qualification Required - Bachelor in Planning (Town Planning) or Masters in Planning in

(Urban Planning/Environment Planning/Urban & Regional Planning)/MBA/PGDBM with 1st

Class from the recognized university.

Additional Qualification required –DCA.

Experience - Candidate having 5 Years of experience in Project Management related to

urban planning will be given preference.

2 Urban Infrastructure Specialist

Qualification Required -B.Tech/B.E./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil Engineering with 1st Class from the

recognized university.

Additional Qualification required -M. Tech/M.E/M.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil Engineering.

Experience -Fresher can apply. Candidate having experience in design and Project

Management in Water Supply and Sewerage related projects will be given preference.

3 Urban Reform Specialist

Qualification Required -B.Tech/B.E./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Computer Science/MCA/MBA with 1st

Class from the recognized university.

Additional Qualification required - M. Tech/M.E/M.Sc. (Engg.) in Computer Science.

Experience - Fresher can apply. Candidate having experience in e-Governance projects will

be given preference.

4 Solid Waste Management Specialist

Qualification Required - B.Tech/B.E./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Environmental/Civil Engg./Chemical

Engg. with 1st Class from the recognized university.

Additional Qualification required - M. Tech/M.E/M.Sc. (Engg.) in Environmental/Civil

Engg./Chemical Engg.

Experience - Fresher can apply. Candidate having experience in design and projects

management in solid waste management related projects will be given preference.

5 Personal Assistant cum Stenographer

Qualification Required - First class graduate/BCA with Shorthand writing speed of 100

words per minute in English and 80 words per minute in Hindi. Typing Speed of 35 words

per minute in Hindi & 40 words per minute in English.

Experience - 3 yrs. of relevant experience.

Annexure-B

(Procedure for filling online Application)

The process of filling online application consists of two parts:

I. One Time Registration II. Filling of online Applicant details like basic information, education details, Experience details

and attachment of necessary documents.

Part-I (One-Time Registration)

1. Please read the instructions given in the Recruitment Notice carefully before filling up the online

'Registration Form' and ‘Application Form’.

2. Before proceeding with One-Time Registration, keep the following information/ documents ready:

a. Fill your name exactly as given in Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate.

b. Fill your father’s name exactly as given in Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate.

c. Fill your date of birth exactly as given in Matriculation (10th Class) Certificate.

d. Mobile Number

e. Email ID (to be verified through link). User ID of the candidate will be his/ her Email ID

provided at the time of registration.

Part-II (Applicant Detail)

1. Applicant basic like Gender, Category, Nationality, Mother Name, Permanent Address,

Correspondence Address, Language Known.

2. Education Qualification and Additional Qualification like Course/Degree name, Name of Institutes/

University, Subject Studied, Area of Specialization, Year of Passing, % of Aggregate Marks.

3. Particulars of Experience like Name of Organization, Designation, Period of Service (From – To),

Experience (Year, Month), Nature of Duties.

4. Document Details like Scanned colour passport size photograph and Signature in JPG/PNG format

(20 KB to 50 KB). Applications with blurred photograph will be rejected. 10 th Mark Sheet, 12th Mark

Sheet, Graduation Mark Sheet, Post-Graduation Mark Sheet/Additional Qualification documents,

Experience Certificate, Cast and Residential Certificate (For Reserved Category Candidates only) .

5. Your Mobile Number. This must be a working mobile number as it will be verified through ‘One

Time Password’ (OTP). It may be noted that any information which the Commission may like to

communicate with you, will be sent on this mobile number only. Your mobile number will also be

used for retrieval of password, if required.

6. Your Email ID. This must be a working Email ID as it will be verified through OTP. Your Email ID

will be your Username for login to the UD&HD online recruitment portal. It may also be noted that

any information which the Department may like to communicate with you, will be sent on this

Email ID only. Your Email ID will also be used for retrieval of password, if required.

YOU ARE AGAIN ADVISED THAT NAME, FATHER’S NAME, MOTHER’S NAME, DATE OF BIRTH,

MATRICULATION EXAMINATION DETAIL SHOULD BE FILLED EXACTLY AS RECORDED IN
