Steps involved in developing a Career Portfolio
Step1: Collect Gather as much information as possible from a variety of sources
Step 2: Select Relevance, what is important to you, think about why you want
to include certain items, do them demonstrate your learning, skills or abilities
Step 3: Reflect Explanation, justification, proof, etc.
Step 4: Present Interview in Grade 11
Remember: Each grade at Vanier Collegiate has a portfolio requirement

You know yourself better than anyone else does, or you will by the time you’ve finished your portfolio.
Remember, only you can: • document your skills and strengths • add to your skills and knowledge • improve your attitudes and conduct • market yourself effectively
