Grade 2 Experiences in Paragraph Form

Caribbean Bay I went to Caribbean Bay in Korea with my friend and friend’s family. When I was 7 years old my mom told me we were going to the Caribbean Bay in Korea!

I asked my mom if I can go to Caribbean Bay and she said yes! The weather was hot. It was summer. Also, I was very happy because I went there with my friend and my friend’s family.

My family and I got there by my daddy’s car. It took kind of a long time and I slept. When we got there I put on my swim suit. I came out of the changing room my dad was blowing up an inner tube. Then I played at the swimming pool at the Caribbean Bay together with my friend.

My friend and I went inside a small tube, but I slid down onto the floor and cut my knee.

I saw the blood on my knee, so I cried like a baby.

My friend’s mom hugged me, so I stopped crying and I played again with my friend. I had a good time with them in the Caribbean Bay.

When I came back home, I slept in my daddy’s car because I was extremely tired. When I go back to Korea, I want to go to the Caribbean Bay again with my friend. That day was my favorite play day. By: Abigail

When I made some candy

Do you like candy? I went

to a shop on Friday and the people

there gave me a lot of candy. They

are all my friends. I wanted to

make the same candy at my house.

So I bought two bottles of milk

and one banana. On my way home

we went to a banana shop. We

saw a lot of bananas so I picked

one that was not black it was a

bright yellow. My mom and I

went home and started to make the

candy. We got a bowl and put

some sugar into the bowl then we

poured the milk and then stirred.

It slowly turned into candy. I

couldn’t believe it. We made a lot

of candy and it tasted yummy. The

candy was sweet. I like to eat

candy. The candy smelt very nice

and all my family likes to eat the

candy that we made/ That was

the best day of all! Yes yes yes!

I rode a horse When I

Was a baby!  

Have you ever ridden a horse? I

went to Kenting to ride a horse. I was

one year old. I picked a horse and my

mom put me on the horse. A man came

and held on to the horse and walked it.

It was fun but in the end I had to go

back to The Kenting Hotel. After I

was back at the Kenting Hotel I

bugged my mom to let me go back on a

horse again and again and again. But

my mom said no to me. So I decided to

go to the swimming pool! I had a lot of

fun! But now I don’t like horses any

more. At the swimming pool I had

a life jacket. I tried to swim but I

could not swim so my dad pushed me.

When my dad was pushing me I was

paddling. My dad let go of me and I

swam by my self. At last my mom said

it is time to go! But I said NO! NO!

NO! And my dad said YES! YES!

YES! I said OOOKKKAAAYYY

and I got out. I went back to the

kenting hotel and went to sleep. I like

to swim. But now I know I can’t swim

so long.

My Birthday

I went to my grandma’s house yesterday .She lives in Taipei. My mom and dad

bought a cake. It’s my seventh birthday. We had a party at her house. We ate, talked, and played games. Grandma also took me to the park and we played. I had so much fun. I wish I had many birthdays. I also went to see vegetables and flowers. I went to another park. We saw ducks and swans and other small birds. There was a road closed and you could not ride bikes because you would fall into the dirty lake. We saw water cars in the farm entrance. If the water splashed to the ground the water car would move. I wish I could go to the farm and the lake and the park again. It

is very fun and beautiful and cool! Next time I will go again! I can’t wait until my next birthday!

My Third Swimming Race

Have you ever been to a swimming race? I have been to a swimming race before, and there were many children. I was one of them. That day I woke up and I was very nervous. After I put on my bathing suit I got into my mom’s car then she drove me to the race. When I got there I waited for a long, long time till it was my turn to race. My first race was the 100 meter free style. I tried really hard and I got fourth place in the race and I was so close to getting third place. After this race I waited for a long, long time until it was time for my second race. My second race was the 50 meters free style. This race I did better at and finished in second place out of the whole race, and I won a silver metal. I was happy that I won the silver metal, and happy that I got a number four in the first race too! My mom, dad, aunt, grandma, and I were all there. My mom, dad, aunt, and grandma were excited to see me race! I learned not to be nervous when you go to a race. It was a very exciting race!!!

Leofoo Waterpark Have you been to Leofoo Water Park? Well I have and it’s fun. I went there almost every Sunday in the summer. There are waterslides, pools, a sandbox and restaurants. It’s a water park so it has water too, lots and lots of water! There is a pool that has water up to 100 centimeters deep then if you go further it goes to 180 centimeters. There seemed to be a trillion inner tubes. The tubes are fast! I rode of the inner tubes many times down the watersides. There are many kids of water slides. My favorite one is the purple slide that goes around and around. At the end of the ride I have to hold my nose so that water does not go inside. There was a song they kept playing and it went something like this “bam ba la bam bam bam”. The song was kind of annoying because I was having fun and it kept playing over and over. Other than the song the water park was very fun! The weather was kind of cold. It took about one hour to get there. My mom and dad were there too. The water park is so big that there are even chefs to cook people food. The food is very delicious, I had a hamburger. It’s big and so it’s fun. I had a good time in there. I can’t wait to go back.

The Time I Had Fun in Lea Foo!

I went to Lea Foo village when I was in Grade 1 and it was a very fun day. I went to get a map of Lea Foo. I went to play cool games. We played a bowling game against each other to see who would get the most points and we tied. Jin and I went to get cool toys too. We got a Plant vs. Zombie toy and we played with it for a while. We had some Lea Foo money to play some games with. We saw a movie too. It was called ice village it was about an animal adventures and we both liked it. We saw animals too! We even went to ride a pony. It was fun pretending to be cowboys and I wasn’t even scared. Then we went to get candy. We got some dinosaur candy and it was delicious. Jin and I also got balloons and a bottle with

a picture of Lea Foo village on it. We ate lunch and we went to McDonalds to get a happy meal. Then we met some new friends that loved to play soccer. Finally all of us went to the park to play soccer. When our fun day was ending our new friend went back home. It was the best day of my life. By : Keiji

Buying A Pig by KISA

When I bought a pig I saw so many other pigs. I saw cute pigs and I bought the cutest pig. I bought the very cutest pig. The pig likes me. I give her cookies and we sleep in the same room. I sleep with the pig. She is very sleepy. In the morning I eat cookies with my pig.

Water Land

Have you ever been to water land in Jhubei with a summer school before? Well I have and it was the best day in the whole summer. This summer I went with Hsinchu International School to Water Land. At first we went to a snowy place and I fell into the snow. Next, I played in a big water place and it was fun because my summer school friend was taking my picture of me so I ran away but my summer school friend was taking my picture over and over. Next we went to a swimming pool and I swam with my summer school friends. It was so fun because we could go to a ghost swimming pool and ghosts were to coming out and scaring all of us. Next I tried to go swimming in a real swimming pool and it was so funny because Alexander was trying to do something to me and my summer school friend was taking my picture in the water. So I swam away and started swimming with

other friends from summer school. Next, I ate a lunch and I went swimming again. One time during the day I almost died because I hadn’t learned how to do swim yet so I almost drowned. It was a really fun day but next time I want to learn how to swim first.

WHEN I WENT TO LEGO LAND By TAICHI Have you ever been to Lego Land? In 2010 I went to Lego Land in Oregon when I was living there. I went with my dad, my mom and my sister. I was excited to go Lego Land. I have been playing with Lego for a long time so I could not wait to see all the Lego’s at Lego Land. Some of the things I saw were fish, bird, tiger, snake, dragon and people. They were really big but looked fake. Being there made me feel good about life. I felt very special to be there. The most fun thing I did was to build my own Lego computer by following instructions. When I finished, it looked very cool. I was there from 10:00 am to 9:00pm, it was a long time to be there and I was ready to leave. But before I left someone gave me some Star Wars Lego and I was happy. Inside Lego Land was pretty and cool. It was fun!!! I can’t wait to go again!!!

My Trip To Austria Last summer I went to Austria with my mom and dad. When we went to Austria I saw a palace and some famous people live there. Some famous kings and queens and Mozart a famous musician .I am going to the palace for the first time .I could dress up in old gold lace trims dresses white gloves and wigs. I like the musty and dusty old paintings and gold and silver. I like the jewelry. They are not shiny as a shiny white shiny pearl .Queens and kings sometimes have a bad life .I like my hotel and the beautiful palaces. My first hotel is hotel Imperial and my room was like the inside at a palace. The light has jewels. The second hotel was the same name but a different place, and it was just as interesting. The last one was Sahar Hotel. It had the famous chocolate cake. I took many long walks to get to the palace. I had a very fun time! I wish I could go back to Austria again! I meant Music City!
