Grade 3 Week of June 8th- June 16th
Message to PCSD Students and Families: We did it! This is our very last hyperdoc for the 2019-2020 school year. Please note that this is for 7 days and not 5 days. As a PCSD community, we are so very proud of all the effort that has gone into continuing the learning, so finish strong and do your very best work on this last hyperdoc. Please contact your teachers with any questions!

ELA Topic: What’s in Our Universe: Lessons 16 and 17 Topic Summary: Lesson 16:
● I can listen to text read aloud about astronaut Mae Jemison and answer questions about her life.
● I can read about astronaut Mae Jemison and put the events of her life in sequence. Lesson 17:
● I can read a story about a girl who goes to astronomy camp and answer questions about the text.
Tasks for the week: ● Go through the lesson 16 slide presentation and watch the read aloud video. ● Read Chapter 12 “Dr. Mae Jemison” or listen here. Complete questions in
16.1/16.2. ● Read “Star Girl” and answer the questions in 17.3 ● Continue working in your grammar packet! Aim for a page a day ● Complete the activities below
