Grade 5 and 6 Chinese Excursion 2019 14/05/2019 National Gallery of Victoria Terracotta Warriors Exhibition and Chinese lunch at China Town &六年级学生参观维多利亚国立美术馆兵马俑展和中国城吃中餐 Dear Parents, We have organised a Grade 5&6 excursion to the National Gallery of Victoria and Chinatown on 11th &12th of June as part of our Chinese culture and language study. Students will view one of the greatest national treasure of China – the Terracotta Warriors from Qin Dynasty, as well as have a delicious Chinese banquet meal in a Chinese restaurant. Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at Mooroolbark station on the day. They will also need to wear school uniform and bring a snack and drink bottle in a small reusable bag. We ask that permission forms and payment be finalised by Friday 31st of May, to allow us time to coordinate with the restaurants regarding the number of diners and special dietary requirements. National Gallery of Victoria Terracotta Warriors Exhibition and Chinese lunch at China Town

Dear Parents, We have organised a Grade 5&6 excursion to the National Gallery of Victoria and Chinatown on 11th &12th of June as part of our Chinese culture and language study. Grade 5 and 6 Terracotta Warriors Exhibition and Chinese lunch Excursion PERMISSION SLIP Child’s Name: __________________________________ Grade: ________________ I give permission for my child to participate in the Grade 5 and 6 Terracotta Warriors Exhibition at the NGV and Chinese lunch in Chinatown on their allocated day of either Tuesday 11th or Wed 12th June, travelling to/from the city by train. I understand that in the event of serious misbehaviour my child may need to be sent home from an excursion and the costs associated with this are the parent or carer’s responsibility.

I authorise the teacher in charge of the excursion to consent, where it is impracticable to communicate with me; to the child receiving such medical or surgical treatment as may be deemed necessary. Montrose Primary School is a Child Safe organisation, which adheres to the child safe standards. All of our staff, volunteers and presenters must agree to abide by our code of conduct, which specifies the standards of conduct required when working with children. Any parent helpers selected for this incursion will need to sign the school’s Child Safety Code of Conduct policy and have a current Working with Children check.
