COMMENCEMENT 2013

The American Scholar Group closes the academic year by honoring our scholars with the annual Senior Commencement Luncheon. This ceremony serves as a time to reflect upon and celebrate the accomplish-ments made by graduating Seniors before they embark on their journey to higher education. American Scholar students and staff always embrace new challenges and welcome opportunities for growth, discovery and personal development.

PAINTBALLAlways popular, our paintball club provides students with the opportunity to purchase their own equipment and challenge other participants in battle. When combat stations are set up at the Chapel Hill Campus (CHC), friends become foes and foes become friends in a battle for supremacy at the CHC Paintball Arena!

FORMAL FRIDAYS

Friday formal dinners are held twice a month for the purpose of emphasizing the value of com-munity engagement. These occasions provide excellent opportunities for students to practice their etiquette, implement conversational skills and enjoy the company of all staff and students in a warm and hearty environment.

The Annual Spring BBQ Festival is held atthe conclusion of the academic year. Thisevent, featuring traditional Americanpicnic cuisine and roast suckling pig ona spit, is hosted by the Group Chairman & Chief Executive of the American Scholar Group. The event is a time of celebration forAmerican Scholar students as they reflectupon their academic, social and culturaljourney throughout the year.
