the main difference is that you EARN credits in high school for every course you take.

NO…and you are considered a repeat 9th grader

• High School League Requires:
For first time 9th graders-- you must have passed the 8th grade academically (not through social promotion)
10th-12th grades-An overall passing
average AND earn 5 credits from the previous year
• Division I Requires:16 core courses4 years of English3 years of Math (Alg 1 and
higher)2 years of natural/physical
science (1 year of lab if offered by high school)
1 additional unit of English, Math, or Science
2 years of Social Studies4 years of additional courses
(from the areas above or foreign language)
Same for Division II in 2013
