All-New Multi-Generational RecreationCenter coming Spring 2015!An ALL-NEW Grapevine Community Activities Center (C.A.C.) is about tobegin its ground breaking construction. In efforts to serve our community in the most safe and expeditious manner, we will close our current C.A.C. and offer a convenient satellite location for our patrons. Programs, exerciseequipment and staff operations will move to 1250 William D. Tate Avenue - Suite 100, in early March, 2014. This location will act as our temporary C.A.C. until construction is complete on your new, state-of-the-art facility – scheduled to open in 2015!

Your all-new multi-generational recreation center will increase by 60,000 square feet! Once complete, total footage will be an average of 108,000 square feet. Some of the many features of this incredible update are as follows:

AquaticsRoughly 175,000 gallons of water will circulate for pure aquatics fun inside the new indoor aquatics facility! Some of the features are a large slide tower offering two different ride experiences (starting indoors, sliding outdoors and landing in a run-out near the base of the slide tower). The kids-zone will have a zero depth entry, a kids climbing and play feature and a wet play-zone climbing area. Everyone will enjoy the lazy river, lap lanesfor aquatics fitness and exercise, an abundance of seating and lounge space throughout and men’s and women’s locker rooms and a family changing area for those with a caregiver.

FitnessOur fitness area will expand from 2,000 square feet to 7,000+ square feet. Boasting new, state-of-the-art equipment, multiple exercise rooms for fitness classes, private fitness assessment rooms, an updated elevated walking track, anindoor children’s themed playground, a dedicated childcare room and dedicated birthday party rental rooms.

55 & BetterOur current Senior Activities Center will also blend in to the multi-generational recreation center with a kitchen andlunchroom area with the lunchroom area doubling as a community room/event hall, lounge areas, fireplace, computer lab and other classroom space.

Groundbreaking begins March 2014! Additional details may be found at playgrapevine.com after March 1.
