Nilavembu grass root dry powders (VNGRDP) in nano size as filter
media to filter the raw water in many stages and to produce clean
and purified medicinal drinking water naturally to control the
Dengue, viral, Influenza A (H1N1), swine flu fevers etc from
bacterias and viruses. The investigation of the physical and
chemical properties of the VNGRDP indicated that the product from
natural material could be used as a filter medium and gives
medicinal properties to the water indeed be a breakthrough in rural
health problems. This was consistent with the results of the linear
shrinkage which was the best form of the VNGRDP product to be used
as filter medium for water purification.
