Growing up in Brazil, I frequently visited my Grandfather’s Atelier. He carried on our family tradition of fine Italian jewelry making. I spent countless hours watching him work with his exquisite designs, turning brilliant stones into magical, wearable creations. Watching him work exclusively by hand, instilled in me a deep appreciation and respect for superior craftsmanship. This is one of the reasons why all of our jewelry is hand-finished…and why women who ultimately don our designs look so elegant. In my latter teenage years, I was able to go out to the mining towns to source my own stones and began to form relationships with the miners. Over time, they began to understand my design aesthetic and quality and gem requirements. It was at this time I began designing ‘around’ the jewels. In an almost magical way, the jewels continue to direct the color combinations and the general shapes of my designs.

In today’s technological world, everything is about market efficiencies. Fine commodities, dies and molds are often produced and resold time and time again. The design component then simply becomes a function of arranging colors and stone combinations. While this certainly has a place in our industry, in my opinion it is devoid of originality, artistry and soul. Personally, originality of design is one of the most fulfilling parts of my job. It was with this spirit in mind, that I pursued three graduate programs from G.I.A. - In Jewelry making, colored gemstones and diamonds.

I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively and experience a great many cultural backgrounds, which has also influenced my design aesthetic. The colorful way that I see the world – devoid of limitations, is what I bring to my designs. I have the distinct advantage to design from a woman’s perspective. My days are quite busy , as I am a wife, a mother, and a fierce animal advocate. I work and am involved in the community in which I live. My designs are quite often re-tooled to ensure that today’s woman, who juggles so much, will have the ability to carry-on her daily routine without compromising her beauty end elegance when wearing my designs.

I truly feel as though as I was born to create gorgeous, wearable pieces of art, meant to be passed down for generations. It is with this heartfelt mindset that I hope you will enjoy my creations as much as I do!
