FRP
• FRP tanks are lightweight and can be easily transported and moved into position by hand, which is an advantage on sites and installations with restricted access.
• FRP tanks can be installed above and below ground and are easier to move when in position to fit required pipework/vents etc.
• The biggest advantage of FRP tanks is that they don’t rust over time and need to be replaced. UV-inhibitors protect the tanks from degradation from sunlight
• FRP tanks are more durable as they are moulded in a one-piece design with no joins.
• Due to the smooth internal finish of FRP tanks build up and residue of fats, oil and grease are far easier to remove from the tank walls and base which means maintenance is less labour intensive and more efficient.
POLY
• Fully engineered one piece roto-moulded polyethylene construction – no assembly on site
• Below ground and Above ground versions available
• Comparatively light weight – requires light duty crane only
• Available with Class B and Class D lids• No pumps required for operation• Where gravity to sewer is not available,
a separate pumpstation can be added

The contaminated water arrives through the inlet pipe.
2Avoiding mixing the resuspension of settled sludge and grease the internal pipework is directed to the base of the tank.
3The sludge and solids settles in the base of the unit.
4Grease is trapped and it floats to surface.
5Treated liquid is discharged from the grease arrestor to sewer.
