The breathtaking scenery of the LakeDistrict exerts a special fascination, with itsbeautiful combination of rugged crags andtranquil lakes. Our break will be centred onthe busy Lakeland resort and old markettown of Keswick.

Bedrooms are en-suite with TV,telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Facilitiesinclude a restaurant, bar, pleasant lounge on the firstfloor and a lift serves all floors.

Depart Henley at 8.00am we travel northdirectly to Keswick, making a convenient stop for coffee en-route. Arriving around noon we are free to explore andenjoy the atmosphere of this pretty market town.

• Take a stroll to the shore of tranquilDerwentwater for stunning lakeside views

• Visit the Keswick Museum & Art Gallery• Later we check into our hotel in time for dinner

and our two night stay.After breakfast we join the coach for a

full days excursion through the Lake District. We enjoy ascenic drive over Kirkstone Pass to Ambleside and then onto Bowness for lunch and perhaps enjoy a leisurely LakeWindermere cruise. We return to Keswick through prettyGrasmere and along the shore of Thirlmere.Dinner in our hotel.

After breakfast we drive to Cockermouth,famous as being the birthplace of Poet WilliamWordsworth.Departing after lunch we head homeward where our returnto Henley is around 8.00pm.

prison in England.In the afternoon we journey through the Kielder Forest toKielder Water, Europe’s largest man-made reservoir. Enjoythe wild landscape before we head across the route ofHadrian’s Wall en-route back to Hexham.

Departing our hotel after breakfast wejourney to the border town of Carlisle. Rich in culture andhistory there’s much to explore including:

DIRECTIONS: Our premises are situated one milenorth of Henley, on the A3400, travelling towardsBirmingham. On arrival, enter via the ‘Entrance’gateway and follow the signs for ‘Great BreaksParking’. For passengers being dropped off andcollected at the end of the break, there is amplespace for this.

Travel in comfort – All coaches used on GreatBreaks will be from our top class touring fleet,equipped with air conditioning, reclining seatsand toilet.

Great Break Bookings – For a provisional booking,a simple telephone call is all that is needed. We willhold places for you without obligation for 7 days.(Please note; provisional bookings will be cancelledautomatically if payment is not received within7 days).

Confirmation of Booking – In order to confirm yourbooking we require payment in full within 7 days.Once received we will send you your Great Breakconfirmation, receipt of payment, the number andlocation of seats booked and pick up times.

Methods of Payment – All normal methods ofpayment, including cash, cheque, by debit and creditcard and by telephone or by post are acceptable.

PLEASE MAKE CHEQUES PAYABLE TO: ‘JOHNSONSCOACH TRAVEL’. Please note there is a 2% chargefor payments made by credit card.

Reductions – There are no reductions for children onGreat Breaks.

Cancellation by the Company – Shouldcircumstances arise where, due to less than 20bookings, we are forced to cancel a ‘Great Break’holiday all monies paid by all passengers for thatparticular excursion will be refunded and followingthat the Company shall be exempt from any furtherliability.

Cancellation by the Passenger – You may cancelyour ‘Great Break’ holiday at any time and providedthat we receive notice of cancellation within 56 days(8 weeks) of the departure date, then we will refundyou the value of the break, less a £20 cancellationcharge and the value of your travel insurancepremium. No refunds can be given for cancellationsmade less than 56 days prior to departure. You maybe able to claim back the cost of your ‘Great Break’(less the insurance premium and the insurance excesscharge) through your travel insurance which can bepurchased at the time of booking.

Travel Insurance – is not included in the cost of ourGreat Breaks, but is available from just £13.50.

Alterations – The company reserves the right toalter or cancel any of the Great Breaks listed in thisbrochure and to alter the size and specification ofthe vehicle used.
