INTRODUCTION TO TAI CHI MIND BODY HEALTH Tuesday, June 7, 9:30-11:30 a.m.Tai Chi has many benefits on a person’s health and healing including reduction of blood pressure, improving balance & flexibility, focus, relieving stress and more. This mind-body practice of well-balanced exercises with slow relaxing movement and fast movement for cardiovascular health has been shown to have positive benefits in testing by Dr. Lin.

Presenter: Dr. Shin Lin is a world renowned expert in Tai Chi and a faculty member of the Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. His highly successful classes have been taken by hundreds of people through the Samueli Center. He is a frequently invited presenter and keynote speaker at national and international conferences, and has appeared on many TV and radio programs.

LA BLAST - BY DANCING WITH THE STARSTuesdays, June 7- 28, 4 classes7-8 p.m. Partner-free dance program8-9 p.m. Couples dance lessonsA dance and fitness program based on the dances from “Dancing with the Stars”. It is partner-free and uses a wide variety of music and dances such as Latin, pop, rock, hip hop, county and disco in a fun atmosphere. The dances are designed for all levels. This is an introduction to an ongoing series.
