KOPPERCLEAN Spray is a concentrated, biodegradable

detergent with COPPER that helps disinfection; it is

environment friendly, since its formulation does not

contain propellants. Specially developed to be used in

the cleaning of surfaces, counter tops, furniture, walls,

tiles, baths and pets areas with a high bacterial load. Its

unique formulation with COPPER helps to diminish patho-

genic microorganisms and bacterial resistance.

KOPPERCLEAN Spray formulation allows it to clean and to

deodorize corners of difficult access, where traditional

detergents do not reach. The areas of application are

diverse but we emphasize in the hotel business, food and

restaurants, human and veterinary health.

A technical test was done to evaluate the capacity

and efficiency for cleanliness of liquid KOPPERCLEAN.

For this the product was sprayed on kitchen and yard

surfaces.

When analyzing the kitchen and yard floor with a

cleanliness kit, the test determined they had a high

grade of impurity.

Then liquid KOPPERCLEAN was applied on both surfa-

ces to determine the degree of cleanliness of the

product. It was left to rest for 10 minutes and was

swiped with a clean cloth.

The cleanliness level was once again measured by the

analysis kit, and the test showed that the surfaces

where KopperClean was applied had been cleaned

and the microbiologic charge was eliminated.

Finally the test determined that KOPPERCLEAN effecti-

vely worked, being observed that the solution had a

green color, equivalent to ideal levels of cleanliness.

The bactericidal and fungicidal effect of copper is widely known. International studies have revealed that

hospital infections are reduced by 50% by using copper in room’s surfaces. The copper ion causes a series of

negative effects on bacterial cells, causing their death in a few minutes.

Some theories indicate how COPPER kills the microbes that cause some diseases. Between these theories we

emphasize the following ones:

The COPPER causes the leak of potassium or glucamate through an exterior membrane of the bacteria.

COPPER interferes in the osmotic balance

COPPER causes oxidation through the generation of hydrogen peroxide

The results of using antimicrobial copper in medical equipment with solid contact surfaces are varied.

We can emphasize this point by mentioning that the uses of Copper and its alloys on these solid surfaces

under permanent contact in Clinics and Centers of Health, helps reduce the quantity of disease causing

bacteria significantly, and to maintain an excellent condition of disinfection and sterilization.
