• The great white shark is a fish.
It is cold blooded.
• It can weigh up to 3000 pounds.
• The great white can swim
swiftly through the water.
• The great white’s colors are
gray, blue or olive brown. There
under sides are white.
• It is a vertebrate.
Habitat
• Great whites live in the
Pacific Ocean and Indian
Ocean.
• They live in temperate
oceans.
• They live mostly off the
coasts of North America,
New Zealand, Southern
Africa, Japan, and parts of
the Mediterranean.
Food
• It is a carnivore.
• It tears chunks and
eats it.
• It eats seals, sea lions,
dolphins, and penguins.
• It also eats tuna,
salmon, and squid and
herring.
Fun Facts
• They live in coastal areas.
• The great whites teeth are
sometimes are used to
make razor sharp spears!
• They can eat sea lions
whole!!
• They can consume 11 tons
of food a year.
• They poke there heads out
for scents of prey.
